These people had no idea what I've been through to earn this treat - 2 years of waiting and slaving away, and I put this Bal purchase on hold and told myself I would get it after my cancer treatment to celebrate. If that's the kind of Christmas spirit they want to share, I'd rather have none of it and keep far far away, thank you very much.

BUT it finally arrived this afternoon. :yahoo: Not without more drama though!

There's been news today a postal delivery truck from Perth (where my Bal was coming from) to Brisbane caught fire, destroying everything in it. :shocked:

Thank goodness according to the tracking, it was delivered to our post office box. We checked our box, but there wasn't a slip inside, so I went to the front counter. The counter staff checked the online tracking, my printout of the tracking, my ID and went back and forth from the back room 4 times, each time asking me if I had it delivered to my home address (no!) or if I had someone else pick it up (NO!). It took 4 post office staff and 20 mins to finally find it in a sack marked for street delivery (OMG!) the next morning.

All I can say is it is here and I :heart::heart::heart: it!

So glad she arrived safely and that you are now able to enjoy this beauty! Yours looks DELICIOUS! Plus you still have the "older" and bigger hardware which looks 1,000,000X better than the new mini hw. Congratulations, again.

Thanks, and I feel euphoric from just breathing in the smell of her leather. Does that make me a freak? :sweatdrop:

And thanks! I was disappointed when the coquelicot you had was already sold, but I found a store that still had her in the RRGH and had to have her. Am still thrilled with how lush she feels, though her handles are a little dry. I'll have to figure out how to treat that.

Hi Miu Miu1. I'm waiting for my first one too. Which colour did you go for ? I've got to wait for mine to come from America. Anyone have any idea how long it normally takes ?

I went for the ultraviolet (purple being my favourite colour). Not sure about customs etc. As I've never ordered anything from America before. Fingers crossed it all goes smoothly.

I'm waiting on my 2007 GSH jaune city.I cnt wait!!:yahoo:

I was hoping it would be chevre but RERE informed me I wont know unless I have the tags, which I dont...oh well, its my favorite color but beat up a tad,I might just dye her black ((i know, blasphemy)) cuz my hg is a jaune step, so I shall see.
