I am terrible at waiting, I'm not so bad if I have a tracking number, If I don't have a tracking number it's hell!
Balenciaga NY don't give out tracking numbers, I ordered a bag yesterday noon the SA said it will get to me Friday maybe Monday.......So now I'm thinking Friday or Monday I WANNA know for sure!

I luv the anticipation of a new bag about to arrive. The new bal box and tissue paper unwrapping. It's like christmas. Do you wear your new bags straightaway or do you have to look and admire them for a few days while they are perfect, shiny and new???? Am I being a complete lunatic
I admire them for a few days or longer. I waited two weeks before using my black first. I always feel like I need to wait for the right occasion to use a new bag for the first time. If you're a lunatic, then so am I.
I check the tracking # online 104390430 times a day and just try to wait as patiently as I can.

If I pretty much know what it looks like, then I forget about it sometimes but if it's a new color that I haven't seen in person(like anthracite) then I anxiously await a look at it. The more mysterious the color, or a new style, I'm waiting on it but I rarely have then track it unless I think it's really past due. If it's not here by the 5th day, I have them track it.
I hate waiting for the delivery dude to show up. Our FedEx typically doesn't arrive until 4:30 pm. Ugh, it is so tough waiting. My last two purchases I had to pick up at the station because I missed the first delivery attempt - that's torture!
I stalk it online and when I finally get it...I look at it forever...and then model it for my husband...he's pretty good at deciding if the "new" bag is going to make the cut. Once we both agree that it's the "one" then I change my bags and sadly put the old bag in it's dust bag. Kinda sad but I'm always excited for the new one.
As i am based in Europe (and a manic b bag buyer), waiting is pretty much a constant state for me, not that it gets any easier with each bag. I love it when sellers are sweet enough to send me lots of additional pictures - then I basically just pull them up a dozen times a day and daydream about the many cute outfits that could go with my new bag... sigh! Waiting for my Rouge 05 First now - it sucks!
Lol, I'm terrible... At the moment I'm awiating my new coffer from NM, and it was supposed to be here monday!! Without tracking #!! I'm sooo lost, and desperate!!
Call customer service from that store and they should be able to supply one for you. At least that's what I do when I order from Saks (it makes the stalking easier)
I take out all my other bBags and stroke them. I compare their colors and measurements with the new bag-to-be and visualize the new family portrait. (I let the others know that there's a new one coming but I won't love them any less!) I put together outfits for the new bag, as well!

the anticipation is so much worse with balenciagas than other brands... unlike most other brands, you never know EXACTLY what you're getting, since the colors and esp. the leathers vary so much from bag to bag.
