I have a very long wait - 7 months! 
I REALLY want to get a Day, but I'm in Canada & our selection is poo (and really overpriced as I understand it). Next May we are going to Europe so I plan to invade a Balanciaga boutique and finally pick out my first B-bag! I'm hoping to get it in the Storm colour - I hope it's still available.

is it me or does anyone prefer using the shorthand SGH > GSH for describing giant hardware? The GH is implied that it's giant so color type comes as a preferential placing priority. Plus, GSH reminds me of "Growth Stimulating Hormone." Tangent, but wanted to throw that out there somewhere

LVLUX.. I think they still have Officer GGH in BAL PARIS. Not too sure what Styles are left. I emailed them and they still had it in a few weeks back.

Yes, Rory-I was able to locate a Mid Day in the New York Boutique w/SGH -I really wanted the GGH but am hoping that I can love the silver and it will rpobably be perfect for day but I am worried that my heart will still long for the GGH and I won't be truly happy with it-keeping my fingers crossed!
chubbyshopper-I did contact the UK and they said none available but that I could check with the London sotres and I honestly do not even know how to buy internationally -I am a true novice so I just never called-I will maybe try when I get home this afternoon if there is any chance I could get one-it would be worth the try-Thanks for the tip!!!
I did wear my Bal City black w/SGH yesterday for the first time and two women came up to me and asked if they could hold my bag and loved how edgy it looked-I wore it with the New Louis V Anniversary Grunge scarf and it did look hip and so easy to wear. I am a little concerned that it does not look old and wrinkly but tight and like normal leather-will it wrinkle with age?
