I feel the same! I really want the so black so I bought it but I keep thinking about returning it since it's over $5,100. The same issue is happening with LV also.
If you are not really happy with the purchase try to exchange or return.
We have the tendency to keep looking back and noticing the flaws.
There will be another so black but unfortunately probably have to pay more due to the price increase.

I was very excited to get a so black chevron too. It was the only one left in the store so I had fomo and bought it. I am now questioning my decision.

I am unsure if I want to keep it also but I am not willing to pay an extra $1k next time the so black chevron CCH is out... I guess it really depends on whether you are set on this combo. I am now debating if I should keep this or keep the black/gold hw quilted CCH...

I had the same experience. I noticed a crease in the front of the bag as shown in the picture. I can even feel the slight indentation when running my fingers across it. I went back to the store today and looked at another bag to possibly exchange. The 2nd one had an even longer crease in the front, and the bottom corners were creased/wrinkled on the front and back. So I kept the one I purchased. I really love the so black CCH but I’m concerned that the crease with become deeper over time.

Can you lovely ladies tell me is it worth buying the Coco in the Chevron with the black aged Calfskin with brushed gold hardware ? Is it very popular ? Not that I am thinking on buying and then selling down the track but just in case my circumstances changed and I had to sell do you think I would get my money back or make some ? It is the medium size 7.1 X 11.4 X 4.7 . Can buy for AUD $5000 but probably get it cheaper than that. It is a 24 series and is like new. Thanks ladies.

The small size is more popular and retain value better.
But black ghw in caviar usually sells easier

Hi all, I’m new to the club. My new extra mini. I’m so in love, it’s so adorable but I’m completely bummed that it can’t even hold my phone?! Has anyone gotten a leather craftsman to remove the inside pocket? I know it’ll void warranty with Chanel and tank the resale value but at this point, I love it so much I’m willing to sacrifice all that

I have two Coco Handles, and I hate the middle section too. I actually asked a cobbler to take it out, and he said it would not look that great inside and thought I would not be satisfied with it. Plus, removing the center is not going to make the bag open wider. The problem is the side seam. If you lift up the flap and stare at it from the top and look down, you will see the center gets smaller because it is stitched that way. Removing the center pocket will not change that and will not make the bag wider.

I love the Coco Handle design, and when it first came out, I thought I would start to collect them as I once collected GSTs which came in different colors every season. However, after two Coco Handles, for me, the bag is not a usable bag, and I find myself having to limit what I normally carry and "change my bag carrying lifestyle."

So... no more Coco Handles for me as I have to sacrifice too much.
If I were you, I would get a larger size. I would pass on a bag that can't store my essentials.
Hope that helps.

Hey Big Akoya! I think I saw you in the VCA holiday pendant discussion. I always love reading your input. I see what you mean about the middle seam. Since that middle pocket is a bit shorter, I inserted my phone pretending that pocket wasn’t there and visualized if it would fit and it did not. It would stretch out the bag diagonally. I am absolutely gutted. I didn’t think I would love the bag as much as I do. I usually like smaller bags. I just sold my 18S Dark beige chevron boy since it was a medium size and super bulky - my only unicorn but the size wasn’t doing it for me especially now that I have a child. I’m not a fan of the new mini/small coco, seems a tad bit bulky for me as well. I’ve been going back and forth contemplating if I should sell the extra mini coco and I’m literally in the middle. I’m thinking it wouldn’t be a bag for errands but just for events where I can hold my phone or get hubby to hold it or stash in my diaper bag but for that price and I can’t hold my essentials…*sigh not sure if I can justify that

My phone has my life on it, and if I can't store it in my bag, that bag is not a keeper.
Personally, my two cents... I feel like you are forcing it, and you may end up using once or twice and say it's a pain.
I love a lot of bags, but if a bag does not have all my requirements, I am not willing to sacrifice and do odd things to make it work.

For me, I would not ask hubby to hold my phone. It's just goofy because what if you get separated at an event to talk to other firends. You now want your phone to check on things. You can't keep going back to hubby to ask for it, but then if you hold your phone in your hand and not in your purse, it looks silly doing that at an event, like this lady is so desperate she can't live without her phone (which I am, I can't live without my phone, but at least I can stuff it in my purse!).:heart:

Yes, you can push to stuff it diagonal, but then it takes up the entire bag. Sure, you can put stuff in the open "corners" like lipstick and credit card. But here's the problem, once you take out the phone (which now acts as a divider), all the "stuff" in your bag now just rolls back into the center. This means when you have to put your phone back in, you now have to take out all that stuff to "rearrange," just to accomodate that phone. Plus, it really looks silly in my opinion.
The bag is going to be a functional disaster, and quite frankly, it'll look like a lady who overstuffs her tiny bag that isn't working for her. I've seen that when checking out at places like grocery stores. My eyes roll. I've seen ladies who wear these overstuffed little bags and then they have to take out items, put them on the table, then have to stuff it back in. It's not a great image I would want to portray.

I'd return it and get something tiny if tiny is what you want.
Plan B... how about the mini classic flap with handle? It's not the same, but an option. I think that bag is super cute. Not sure how big your phone is and if it will fit... I would think so though as it's a rectangle and open inside.

I'm not a tiny bag person, so I don't buy tiny bags even though it's trendy now.
For me, I can't wait for the tiny bag trend to be over with (I hope 1-2 more seasons) and big bags become the it thing!
I would die for a jumbo size Coco Handle without a divider!:heart:

Hope this helps you to decide! Good luck!

Situationally I get what you’re saying! I can’t even stuff it diagonally, it stretches the bag out and then it looks lopsided. I can’t get my hands on a mini classic with handle, I’ve been trying for one ever since it came out. The stores in Canada only get a few and these go to VIPs and then the VIPs resell them at a high premium. But you’re right, I am forcing it. There will always be other bags. Thanks for your input.

I just got my first extra mini cch this season too, and I am surprised how much I love it. The small is my favorite size, but my SA could only find the extra mini, so I said yes, but thought I might end up returning it. But luckily, I had switched over to the iPhone SE last year, and it easily fits in the extra mini cch.
a smaller phone is SO much better for me. At home I use my iPad, which is sync with my phone, so there is no worry about viewing things on a small screen. And when I am out, handling a smaller phone is just so much easier. And I definitely admit that my move to a smaller phone was in great part influenced by my love of mini bags.

And the added bonus is that the iPhone SE was less than half the price of the larger phones. So I was able to get a Chanel phone case for it, and the price came out to about the same for both the phone and the case as it would have for just the larger model phone.

I realize that some people need the upgraded features of the larger phones. But I would 100% recommend any mini bag lover to take a look at the smaller phones on the market.
