Hello All! I ended getting two bags, CCH in pink and a white small Chanel boy!

I noticed both bags don’t have a serial code tag sewn inside (why is this?) and neither one came with authentication cards. Is that normal? Or can I ask my SA for the authentication cards?View attachment 5112423

They are both lovely! Looking at the PINK CCH, I’m very tempted to get it

my first cch and it’s exactly what I wanted! Lghw, navy with edgestitching in the new small size I love when Chanel has the edge stitching especially in this style!
I didn't know edge-stitching was a thing until I got my CCH and someone pointed out how nice it looks, then I started noticing everyone here mention how they like edge-stitching. I think I prefer the puffy edges!! Can you tell me more about edge-stitching and why you like it?? Super curious!

I generally prefer edge stitching on caviar bags as I think it makes for much cleaner lines. But I do like puffy edges too especially in lambskin and lighter colors!

I like the puffy edges, tome, it looks more "luxurious and hand-made with one supple piece of leather" if that makes sense. I actually do not like the edge-stitching, looks more "machine stitched, putting two smaller pieces of leather together".

I know it's just visual, and both bags are machine stitched, not hand stitched. I just prefer the puffy look far more. I do not like the edge-stitching at all for the above reason. As you can guess, it's all preference and really what is available.

Just sharing my two cents for another point of view. Hope that helps.
