Hi do you know any colours if any small cch still available London anywhere ..??Where are you based? My SA said there are none in the UK. I got it thought a PS instead, still waiting...
Hi all, Shld I get this?
Hello ladies! I couldn't believe it - I finally got my hands on the small CCH in burgundy from the 20K!! It's been ordeal trying to get hold of this one. I'm based in the UK and according to many of the Chanel SAs I've spoken to, they have been terribly affected with the stock of bags they're receiving due to the lockdown.
So anyways, it all started in Aug I believe when I started calling the boutiques enquiring about the burgundy bag. As the months went by, mid Sept to October, I found myself calling the boutiques almost everyday (I know but what can I do - I really want the bag. The hunt is real! haha). Also most of them told me to just keep trying and call everyday as they receive new stocks Mon - Fri. I kept on getting different responses from each boutique - some said they've completely sold out, some said I have to go the waiting / reserve list. By early Nov, I even managed to head into London (exactly a week before they went into lockdown) and they told me that even though they ordered the bag, it would never arrive as they're now getting ready to receive the new cruise collection, and that I would have to wait for years for the colour to come back as Chanel doesn't usually repeat the same colour. So by then my hope was crushed and I thought maybe it is not meant to be.
Fast forward to Thursday last week, I received a text from one of the SAs who happened to be picking up the telephone every time I rang in (which was everyday HAHA). I remember him taking down my details but honestly, I wasn't expecting much as I have never purchased anything from him or Chanel before. So he texted me on Thursday and said, "Hello Madam, we just received the burgundy CCH today. It is the only piece we received and only size small. Please let me know if you're still interested." And I just went"YES PLEASEEEE." He sent me pictures of the bag from all angles, all sides including the bottom of the bag. I went ahead to proceed with payment over the phone, everything went smoothly, he said he'll ship the bag 1st thing on Fri morning & that the bag should arrive by Mon / Tues.
Monday came and I received the bag!! It is just beyond stunning! My SA was right, it is the perfect burgundy. He knew I was worried about it being too brown or too cool tone, but this burgundy is just right. Just when I had lost all hope and gave up on ever owning a burgundy CCH, it came right through my door. Totally worth the struggle and wait.
1st picture is the one that my SA sent me that made my heart skipped beats.
PS. sorry for the long post, just super duper excited to receive my 1st ever Chanel bag & want to share my story

Congrats! It is stunning! I'm still hoping for a black CCH! Fingers crossed!
Congrats on a great colour, I love it but... Hmm that would kinda bother me. Its not like its on the strap or handle that can be replaced if it gets worse it can peel. However at the end of the day its your bag and you should decide if it will bother you and if you wish to take the risk of it getting worseHowever, there is one minor thing. I found a scratch on the leather near to the base of the bag. It is not obvious on the first instance & it is not severe that the pebbles were scraped off. Just a hairline scratch and you could only see it from a certain angle when you hold the bag so upclose and under shine direct light onto the bag. I don't know if I should be bothered by it - the only reason I'm asking is because I want to get the TPFs opinion on it, because lets face it, it is a lot of money and you'd expect the bag to be immaculate.
Having said that, everything else about the bag is perfect. Aside from the hairline scratch, I really couldn't fault the bag. I did text my SA telling him about the scratch and he was so sweet about it. He was going to arrange for a collection and process a refund or an exchange if he could source a new one. However, even if he managed to get a new one for me, I wouldn't know if it'll be better or worse than the bag I've already got. So I'm wondering if it's worth the hassle of getting it exchanged and see if I like the new one, and if I don't, I'm gonna have to send it back and get him to exchange it back with the one I received initially (if that all makes sense). TIA

This Burgandy is beautifulBut tbh with you, that scratch would annoy me. Did your SA say he can perhaps locate another one? If not, have you considered contacting handbag repair companies to see if anything can be done? But at the same time, this is a brand new bag and I don't expect to see a scratch on it.
I completely understand the struggle of finding a CCH that you want in the UK at the moment. The week before the lockdown I visited three boutiques and called every boutique in London. I keep hearing different stories from different SAs, not helpful. Harrods never pick up their phones too. I have the contact of a few SAs but they couldn't find it for me. I ended up buying it from a PS on ig...
I will never choose a bag with loose threads. Speaking of a crooked flap, when I bought my mini last year I noticed the flap was slightly higher on one side when I examined it properly at home. It was just a tiny bit higher so I left it. I have been using it for awhile and I think both sides are balanced now, definitely less obvious. But of course, I am not telling you to go for the one with the crooked flap haha. As another member said, it's whether you're willing to take the risk and see what bothers you the most... And are you sure you want to accept the imperfections when you're paying this much for a bag? Thanks so much for your reply. Yes, he did say that but I've contacted 2 other SAs myself as well - one of them didn't have great stitching on the bag where the threads were kinda loose and at some parts of the bag, the thread formed a blob where the stitches meet. The 2nd one shows more of a crooked flap - one side of the flap pops out more than the other side. Don't know if it'll correct itself over time but I do know a crooked flap would annoy me even more haha. Hence, I'm very torn. It is very difficult to buy these bags without being able to see them in person
