I love love love Coccinelle bags. I had never heard of them and bought one in a little shop (not coccinelle branded) near the Spanish Steps in Rome on sale in January 2000. I'd never seen them before in Australia and had never heard of them.
The shop assistant was doing the hard sell telling me it was a really good italian brand and I said to her, never heard of them but love the bag and so I'll take it. It's been 9 years and it's a bit scratched but still totally functional and it has been through a lot.
Little did I know that my $150AUD (approx 75 euros or 100 USD) was such a bargain. About a year later I saw the same bag in a department store in Australia for $1000AUD.
Ever since I have been longing to find some more and it is only recently with my partner living in the Czech Republic where there is a shop and yoox.com and forzieri.com that I have rediscovered the bags.
My newest purchase is this one from yoox:

It arrived this morning and I love it.
I have also had my eye on the Osaka Shine in purple
http://www.forzieri.com/usa/product...&id_valore3=&id_valore4=183&id_valore5=&c=usa for the last 6 months. I hear it is on sale in Europe but still not on forzieri.com

I haven't seen it in real life so it is a little daunting to buy it at that price without really seeing it.
Does anyone else on the forum have either of these two bags.
Also, does anyone know the store I mean that used to be near the Spanish Steps? It wasn't branded Coccinelle but sold it. Unfortunately the list of stores provided by Coccinelle is not complete - for example they have stores in Brno in the Czech Republic and are stocked by David Jones in Australia but these are not included on their list.
