Then there was the time that I saw the lime duffle in FP and thought it looked gorgeous, but when I got it home, I hated it. Lighting makes a huge difference!

I saw the denim leather at FP and it had a turquoise cast.

LOL. The same thing happened to me with the Lime Duffle, except I bought it from FOS. When I received it, I just wasn't thrilled with the color-- and returned it. Lighting DOES make a difference! Sometimes I check out bags I like on Nordstrom's website because they do a pretty good job with their photos...

I LOVE the new Denim color... I've been contemplating getting this zippy wallet and finally DID at Macy's a few days ago because it was on sale.

Below the zippy wallet photo I uploaded photos (one of each side) of one of my favorite Coach handbags in what they used to consider their Denim color... For the life of me, I cannot remember the name of this handbag and it's driving me crazy. Anyone know? (I would surely appreciate it!)

As PrincessCypress mentioned, there is a lot of color variation and pattern variation on these bags -- I liked the color of the one out on the floor, kind of a washed denim shade - and the first one they brought out for me was a much richer blue - beautiful, but very different. So I looked at a few more and found one on which I loved the color and the pattern of the "croc" imprint. Also, even though the hardware is light gold, it is pale enough that on the front the little horse and carriage pretty much "reads" as silver, which I like. I'm not super picky on hardware colors, but silver or a light colored hardware adds to the casual vibe of the bag, I think. Thanks for looking!

Thanks for posting these photos PrincessCypress! I love the color variation in these denim-colored handbags! What's not to like about BLUE. :smile1:

Love your denim embossed - Congratulations on a gorgeous bag! You've inspired me to buy one...... the duffle and rhyder satchel both caught my eye last month when I was in FP - however, they're no longer on the website:sad: I just emailed CS, will wait and see. I can't imagine them being deleted so soon.....but who knows??? Any input?

Both of them were deleted. Maybe they'll show up during the SAS.
