I have the leather feather in denim blue and the feather is quite close to legacy cobalt blue.

Please note that the feather is smooth leather and the same color on smooth leathers versus pebbled leather look different.

I have the leather feathers in both colors but I didn't even think of looking at the blue one.:nogood: My feather is a true blue with the tiny studs on it.

I totally agree, CashmereFiend! I plan on going to the boutique tomorrow afternoon and I will share pics here. Hopefully they have both the croc and pebbled denim leather there for me to photograph. :smile1:

That would be great! I hope it works out for you and that they have the bags you want. I love denim shades of leather. I wore my kristin woven leather baby sage in denim almost all summer for two summers in a row, and I think "denim" can be so versatile.

Thanks!

Lol, I'm actually not interested in buying anything, more just looking at the denim leather out of curiosity and now to share pics! I think I'm safe, with the limited selection available in croc embossed denim leather. :smile1:

Pictures, pictures!!! Here are pics I took of the croc embossed denim leather next to the pebbled denim leather. I noticed that the croc embossed denim leather had a lot of variation in color vibrancy between the two larger bags and even on the Rhyder satchel handles (the front handle was noticeably lighter than the back handle). Also, the croc embossed denim leather is very matte, almost dry looking IMO.

In conclusion, the pebbled denim leather and croc embossed denim leather look like completely different colors. HTH! :smile1:

Thanks for the pictures! You are right, there is a huge difference in color between croc and pebbled. I think I like the pebbled one better personally.

thank you for the pictures! Wow, what a variation! I like the color of the croc duffle the best but the variation makes me wonder if these are susceptible to fading. With the matte finish, I bet you can't use any kind of conditioner.

You're welcome, lamminda! Glad my pics could help you and anyone else reading this thread, especially because the two different leathers are photographed side by side. :hugs:

You're welcome, whateve! I was quite surprised at the variation in the croc embossed denim leather and even though I started out liking the leather and not the Rhyder, I changed my mind on both things! Now I like the Rhyder and not the croc embossed denim leather. :shrugs:

Good point about the conditioner. I also would recommend to anyone interested in the croc embossed denim leather bags to buy in person. With so much variation in color, it seems to risky to order a bag like this sight unseen.

Thanks for the great pics! I really like the croc denim. Wish it came in the Edie (or better yet the discontinued Phoebe) or the small duffle. Maybe I could learn to like the larger duffle or the Rhyder...

You're welcome, morewineplease! I can definitely understand if you learn to like the Rhyder, since I sure did when I saw it in person. I think it's a great size and design, plus it's comfortable to carry and not heavy like the Swagger (which I tried on at the same time). And I love the dark hardware they used on the croc embossed denim leather Rhyder! :smile1:

I went to see this denim leather today and it feels very soft and velvety! My SA told me that it's really nubuck. But between the rhyder and duffle, I prefer the rhyder. The duffle just seems too long for me.

I agree. I wish they made it in the mini duffle. It would be more affordable too.

Wow. Love this shade in both versions. I kind of love the watercolor-like tones of the denim croc, with its almost ombré variations in color. Thanks so much for posting!
