LOVE IT! Was waiting to see this one
. Too bad it has such short straps, but a beauty nonetheless .
I got my lil wristlet. It came in a canvas dust bag. I won't be getting the Rogue so it's nice to have this cutie. The leather is smooth on the side and pebbly on front/ back. Might use this for cables. Not too sure yet.
Wonder why they chose to use the 1920s version of Felix (when he had teeth) as opposed to the 1970s version when he looked better!

I think that's why I always disliked Felix , those dang teeth....that and the fact I hated when cartoon characters had oversized heads on small bodies.
Guess you wouldn't have liked my Strawberry Shortcake collection. [emoji854]
My guesses:
1. The 1920s version is more "retro"
2. They got licensing for the 1920s version because the licensing for the 1970s version was unavailable or too costly
That cartoon was way after my time so I never paid much attention to the Strawberry Shortcake stuff....I do remember the faces were cute though. The ones I really hated were those Powder or Power Puff characters. I only knew about them because I saw them on clothing and I couldn't stand them....weird and freaky looking with the severely oversized head and eyes..
It is a common factor in cartooning to give "cute" characters large heads, along with huge eyes, like puppies and babies. It makes them more likeable. Villains are taller, skinnier and have small heads.
I don't mind the teeth on Felix. They kind of look like baby teeth because of the huge gap. I don't have any memory of watching Felix cartoons.
