Coach suede fringe rogue durability?

I looked at it at Tiffany and it was quite a bit more expensive! I didn't think about ebay.

Oh, do think about eBay for bags. Deals to be had. I used to not be that excited about eBay but then I discovered that I could get a bag for 30 to 40% off if I set up an alert and if I get tired of it, then, I can sell it for the same. I did that with the cornflower blue rogue. Bought it for about 450 and sold it for 400. Used it straight for a month and then it sat in my closet. Kind of like rent a bag.

I would have never bought that Tiffany bag full price, but it worked out on eBay and I love it.

My suede rogue with fringe in oak is on its way, I just about had a heart attack when the SA ordered this for me in fern (the green) but they fixed it and upgraded me to overnight shipping to the store. I am curious how is the fringe holding up against day to day use? Is spraying it a must? i am afraid I would mess that up as I haven't done it before.

what do you use and does it change the color or texture at all? also did you spray the fringe as well? how many treatments did you do? I can totally understand spraying it and being cautious. Also i worry about color transfer but cant wait to enjoy it!.

I sprayed the heck out of it. Three heavy duty coats. I used the spray from Nordy's. Here is the post earlier in the thread on this

Oh, it dried pretty quickly. Like 10 min, but i gave it an hour or two. That stuff from Nordy's is amazing. I figured Nordy's would stand behind it which is why I went with it. And it works. I sprayed my Suede jacket, and some other suede things I have.

That did not happen to me. I'd take it back to Coach and ask to swap it out and see if it happens again.

Rep over the phone said it does not seem normal and could be a defect, Store SA told me it is due to the raw nature of the suede. Phone rep suggested bringing it to the Madison ave store to get it checked out. I dont want to return it but if this is a defect its not good. Sa said that it should stop after the first few wears. I am not sure who to believe. :hrmm:
