I know the Soapstone was supposed to come with Charcoal edgepaint....... on my monitor I can't see the contrast with this DD. Can anyone see a definite edgepaint on their monitor?
Love this color! I just ordered a mini Preston in pink ruby from the Macy's FF sale. I should have waited, I think I like this color better.
There definitely is dark edge paint on the soapstone as there is on most COACH bags. I'm guessing you were expecting/hoping that it was the "edgepaint" style that has the contrasting zipper tape and two toned straps?
I think the soapstone/charcoal edge paint was for the Preston and not the Sullivan. I've never seen a pic of it either though
Exactly! I thought the Sullivan would have the edgepaint version - now I realize my SA told me the Preston would come in the Soapstone/Charcoal.
You're correct! Soapstone in the Sullivan is pictured on page 124 of this thread.
The Sullivan is available in soapstone/charcoal edgaint too!!
the charcoal is a very dark deep stormy grey!! Idk which I like better. I'm thinking the all soapstone may be less trendy?! Might get some soapstone/charcoal edge paint accessories!
Love this! Thanks for the info that the Sullivan does come in the edgepaint. I think it's a nice contrast - and I don't think it would come off as too trendy - because the colors are in the same family, versus the contrast (like on the Camel/Ruby Pink).
After lugging my Preston around the past few days, I'm glad it's available in the Sullivan.
RE Preston and "lugging"... I've decided it's just too heavy (and barely full)to use it regularly. I have the Sea Mist, and in love with the color, so I knew I'd keep it, regardless. The Pale Lemon and Black Edgepaint are going back

That is so true about being in the same color family!! I think I'm going to order the Sullivan and the wallet above, both in edgepaint! As soon as the PCE starts! I'm sorry your Preston is too heavy. I thought the same thing when I tried it at the store. Seamist is so gorgeous though!!
