Soo... I went to the outlet and I got this bag....

That's a great bag. If you know you're going to use it a lot, and you're not putting yourself deep in debt, then don't feel guilty! It's good quality and a classic style so you'll be able to use it for a long time. :flowers:

Haha, it's so tempting to return it and buy something else. I really had my heart set on some kind of tote so uuuggghhh. I don't know! Lol. This one is a nice color and will last me a while... I'm just not sure

I have two totes and the messenger that I use interchangeable for work. And the messenger is definitely the MOST comfortable of the three bags....if you carry very much..or its heavy...its a nicer shoulder strap than both my totes....and its nice to be able to put it across your chest and even out the weight distribution. I always switch to the messenger if I'm flying...or if I'm throwing a bunch of files in my bag along with my laptop and notebooks.

Ohhhhhh, now I see the problem - I thought you were feeling guilty for buying it in general. I didn't realize you had your heart set on a tote. In that case, it might be better to return it and wait until you find what you really want. Otherwise you'll never really feel happy with it and will still want to go and buy a tote when you see one you really love.

(Unless, of course, you can afford to buy both and know that you'll still use this one lots, even if you don't totally :heart: it).

i have that bag in all black and i love it!! i got mine from the outlet and i too wanted a tote, and am so glad i got the messenger. the strap is comfortable, it's not too thin when i'm carrying a lot. i am happier i got the messenger than the tote.

That's a great bag! I had no idea they had these at the outlets! Mine never carries the signature lines. :crybaby: I was glad to see that someone said these were comfortable. I'm using the fact that my briefcase strap clip broke to get a new bag, and I'm giving a lot of thought to the messenger. So I think you made a perfect choice. :yes:

These were also at the Leesburg VA outlet this past weekend, and since they almost never have signature, I was pretty surprised to see them. Didn't buy one tho (darn).

Well... I bought a Hampton's Tote on ebay so I'm going to be returning my messenger bag. I tried loading it with my books and the size just doesn't agree with my books and I'd rather have something fit my things and get some of my money back :o)

OOOO I wanted that bag, but got the blue transatlantic instead! (So good with jeans!)
