What happened to this Ryder? I do like the tooled leather details on this bag. I wonder when we will see this.

Oh! Right...what happened to THAT version? I'm liking several of the Tooled leather Tatum totes and this tooled leather Rhyder 33 that you have attached here - all very kickass! What happened? Maybe stock is still trickling in? I suppose since the Gramercy bags have yet to appear also but that's a totally different looking bag LOL

Assuming that's the smaller version of the Rhyder 33 (hard to tell from the pic), I can answer this one. They didn't make it. They put a prototype into the marketing campaign (they show it in purple in the photo of four models with different Rhyder bags). I called and confirmed, as did my SA's.

It is technically the Rhyder 32 and does in fact have a model number in the system, but so far is not slated for production. Too bad, its a fantastic purple metallic (saw a swatch of it at the San Fran flagship).

Maybe they'll see us all wanting it and make it, but don't hold your breath ladies!

Now that you mention it...yes, too true! Nowhere to be found...guess they didn't do the white pebbled leather at all? Oh well, my brain is ready to explode with all these new bags as it is (other brands too).

I don't like their choice of gold hardware on the black Rhyder 33 but that's just my opinion. For me, I think the hardware needs to be burnished...gold is fine but shiny gold isn't right for this bag (imo). It's easy for me to pass on it.

Do you think the mustard yellow nubuck Rhyder 33 was a prototype too? No sign of it anywhere after the spectacular stock pic.

They do that every season. Glitter python Madeline: was in preview, never made. There have been plenty of others. A certain patent leather Abigail, if I recall correctly.
