Your bags are beautiful! Love em. Will the conditioner and which one do you recommend, darken the yellow part of my purse? I only have leather cpr and blackrocks.
Thanks! They are very cute and I love the striped lining. Both are in great condition too except that the brass plating has worn off and there are a few spots on the leather of the kisslock one.

Either conditioner would work fine. I think the Blackrocks would provide more protection. Neither would darken it. Even if the Blackrocks looks darker initially, it will lighten back up once it soaks in.

How long should i leave my hippie flap in the leather bath?

I usually leave mine soak for 35-45 minutes, depending on how dirty it is. I then rinse and leave in clean water another 10 minutes or so to make sure all the soap is out or until I see no more soap bubbles. I usually use a relatively small amount of Woolite during the bath, however, and I find it pretty easy to make sure it is rinsed well.

Don't be nervous, I was the very first time I was gonna dunk a purse, it's hard to wrap your head around the fact that water and leather and soap can mix. Once you finally do, and you see how beautiful (most purses) come out, then you'll be scrounging around for yucky, dirty, flat purses to rehab. Just look at the past postings for rehabbing and you'll do fine. Good luck!

I agree. It's quite nerve wracking the first time but you'll be delighted with the results.

Ah DH's they just don't get our obsession with Ms. Cashin and coach bags. Mine just says to me "don't you get tired of looking at purses?" Uh...no!

I have had my lovely plaza court on display on the top of the tallboy in our bedroom since I got her because I love looking at her and she goes so well with the decor. Every time my DH dusts the top of the tallboy he 'forgets' to put her back..........

Hi ladies! I just received a vintage Coah bag and it comes with a gold/brass shoulder chain. However, it's tarnished and needs some polishing. Is brasso a good brand to use and what are the steps to use it? It's my first attempt at polishing metals. Thanks!

About 4 weeks ago I bought a black sig jacquard and leather wallet. I was so proud, I got it on clearance, plus an additional 40% off. While at the mall my daughter and I stopped into the Chocolate Factory, to get my nephew a treat. When we got home he wanted to see our "spoils of war." In the process, gasp, he got chocolate on my wallet. Needless to say we were in a rush and I didn't have time to immediately clean it off.

The night before last, not thinking that she had not been cleaned, I swapped over into her. Yesterday, while at the mall again, my dd wanted to see if Coach had any new Park HD bags. Well I pulled out my wallet to pay for her clothes, realizing I could not go into Coach with it looking like that. The ever smart dd suggested using my Tide To Go on it, just to see. I know, always, always use caution.... But IT WORKED!!! With no fading, an the chocolate is gone, lesson learned. But in a pinch....
this is pretty helpful but what about oil stains is there anyway on earth to get them out of red lambskin. what would you do? redye the whole bag? I got a bag for my birthday and it cost my fiance a fortune i was mad at him for spending so much but very very happy with the pretty little gift. and then at lunch the next day i spilled olive oil all over my bag.. this what it feels like to be in hell. i love that bag and now i have no idea what to do...

Some people have had luck with cornstarch absorbing the oil. If all else failed, I would put more olive oil on, hoping to get an even coverage!
