Here’s my grey rambler’s legacy all finished! Piping could use a bit of a refresh in some areas but the “grey-ness” of the bag hides it well enough for me to put off fixing it for a later date.

Post-dunk mess I created trying to remove a few tiny spots:

After removing spots & giving the bag a final condition:

It's absolutely gorgeous!

As katev says, it is absolutely GORGEOUS!!! I'm loving the colour combo of the flannel gray and nickel! I don't have one.... yet.

I've pretty much finished this magnificent tangerine Geometric Bag 9043. There are still FAINT spots and the wisest course of action is to ignore them. I do believe they will disappear completely with time and more buffing.

She was already beautiful before... just a bit misshapen from shipping and some slight colour loss:

Here she is in the sun yesterday!

I removed all her hardware and want to mention that it WAS NOT EASY to put it back! The closing flaps require layers of leather to make them stiff enough to function properly. They are double thickness and Coach did not use special hardware with extra long prongs.

I love this bag and she will be a permanent member of my collection!

Thanks for looking!

Gorgeous! This is a style that's been on my wish list for awhile! I'd love to get it in yellow.

Fabulous, congrats!

Newbie here looking for advice. I just purchased this periwinkle bucket bag (9085). There is significant fading along the sides (one side is worse than the other). There is also color loss along the piping but that’s not the main concern. Is this a rehab job worth undertaking and if so how? It was fairly pricey so I need to make a quick decision about keeping it. Thanks for advice!

You're in luck! I recently rehabbed my periwinkle winnie and it came out great!

Here's a link with the products and how to go about it:

If you need any help let me know!

Here you go:smile:

My Rambler’s Legacy was super dry in this pic! I gave it a good conditioning after taking it:lol:

Such a beauty!!!

*NERD ALERT *
Hey all, when putting the hardware back on a Willis/Station/Winnie, do you have the screw heads facing the front or the back?

The front... at least that is how my Willis arrived and it is not yet restored. :flowers:

Yeah, I initially put them back with the little bead end facing the front. I think I like the screw heads at the front better. Off to change them.
I just went back and looked at my “before” pics. Screw heads to the back. I don’t think anyone had removed them. That poor bag used to be a dry, squished, verdigris mess. I doubt it had ever been even remotely rehabbed.
Still, like them better facing front.
