What a color! It looks amazing! I may have to find a Pocket Zip in Tangerine now. Love the saturation and vibrancy of the Ergo colors.
Can you wear her crossbody?
I can wear her in a high crossbody because I’m super tiny! I’m only 4’11” tall. It’s definitely supposed to be a shoulder bag:lol:

Remember this denim Willis up for auction last month on eBay? It was a scary bag! That is a melted Milky Way candy bar stain on the bottom of the bag. It has gone through extensive rehab and looks amazing, truly a gorgeous color that is impossible to capture in photos. I’m at 29 Willis and counting but this is my favorite so far.

It came out great! That candy bar looked like tar.

You must have used Magic....how do you get that stain out?

Yes, I waved my magic wand and conjured up my good friend Sue Tremonti who does Coach rehab for a living! I am decent at rehabbing bags but this poor baby was in really bad shape and I only took a chance because of the unusual color. A 12 hours soak and lots of scrubbing finally removed the stain. She spent three weeks daily working on this bag and it is gorgeous!

My UA Stewardess is officially done! Often when friends compliment my work, I kind of shrug it off as all I usually do is wash and condition the bag with a little edge paint tossed in, but on this bag, I had to do some work.

This is how it looked upon arrival

The original tabac showed through a lot in sun, some in indoor light. I wasn’t happy so I tried Saphir black Juvacuir and got a good result. I wanted to share daylight pics but it is storming and I didn’t want to wait.

The only negatives were my reaction to the odor, which might not be yours. I tamed it by garbage bagging it overnight and then leaving it in the garage Not bagged for 48 hours. And the loss of the original tabac thread color which had somehow been maintained during its old dyeing. I chose not to dye the back wall of the front pocket as only an inch shows and I wanted to keep some of what was and left the strap alone. It was fairly black and I didn’t want to risk the UA stamp.

If you have and questions about what I did, let me know

Anyone else have heart palpitations while waiting for a BT to dry? Just finished a Court and the colors were crazy when I dunked it until the bag was totally saturated - then all the crazy lights and darks while it dries. Thought I ruined it but woke up to a beautiful even colored bag. Working on a Willis now so at least I know what to expect
I had the exact same experience with my BT Court. Now it looks lovely!

This was a straightforward rehab of a green Scooter Bag 9893 from the early 1990s (e.g., bath, soak, stuff, shape, condition, finish, and polish the hardware.) The bag was very dry and really needed conditioning and there are 2 spots on the back (caused by the food stains inside) that became less noticeable after rehab but didn't disappear.

My question is about the color. At first I assumed that it was Forest Green but the color really varies with the lighting from dark green to bright green, and I understand that that this bag also came in jade, correct? I am not familiar with jade bags, what is your opinion of the color? Thanks!

Thanks! I got it for $35 shipped and it was in pretty good condition, so I think that was a good price. It was this Marie Claire article about a red Scooter that inspired me to buy it!

I think it is bottle green.

Thank you, and thanks also for authenticating it!

This 1996 catalog doesn't include any reference to a green Scooter but obviously it did come in green!

@LunaSilver or @whateve :

Im gonna start my bone/white bag rehab tomorrow and was just wondering, am I supposed to use the benzoyl peroxide zit cream on the stains before I dunk the bag or after?

Thank you for your response(s) :)
I used on mine after. Some stains may be cleaned off by dunk.
ETA: I put the zit cream on the dark spot and left it overnight. Wiped off the dried cream next day with a damp cloth.

I've put mine in the sun. I think it helps the zit cream to work. I've left the cream on for a couple days. Sometimes I'll have to do another treatment. It has worked on ink and dirt but not where the leather is worn.
