Coach Rain Boots??

I am from the midwest, and I go to school in Iowa.
I don't wear my rainboots unless I absolutely know it's going to pour. I would feel silly running around when it sprinkles. If the boots were more "portable" I would bring them to class, ect. but they're so big that you really have to plan accordingly.
I also think the rainboots (that I own) look best with dark, rich denim. I usually wear them with S4AM Skinny jeans.
=)

coach shoes are so narrow or i just have wide feet or something... i bought this
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B001ESG18W...e=380333&creativeASIN=B001ESG18W&linkCode=asn

last year at nordstrom at sf.. it was all sold out and they had to send it from a different store. i told them to send me size 7,the size 7 fit just right when i tried on a different style they had at that time but later on i wore my rainboot around the house it felt very cramped near toe area... and i had to go for size 8... fit much better and it's quite heavy. i don't recommend wearin it for really long period of time because your leg feels stiff near calves area because it's impossible to bend with the rubber.. bloomies actually had it 20%off or was 10% off i should of just waited but i wanted it so bad lol!

i have burberry rainboot also and it feels weird compared to coach rainboots because the width of the heel is thicker and burberry ones its thin and it feels like ur walkin on the ground with your bare foot.

if you decide to purchase the coach rainboots be careful where ur walkin cuz it's supper slippery! i actually fell once on the bus

i'm a size 6 1/2 in regular tennis shoes
6 in uggs

I love the coach boots but I can't get myself to purchase a pair because I can't see myself wearing them. I live in central Florida and I have never seen anyone wearing rainboots except fishermen. I guess I could get a pair and have them on our boat for when we are caught in a rain storm... ???? (Good excuse to tell the DH)

OH Geezz.... when will it be a cool fashion statment to wear rainboots everyday like the furry boot phase???? :D

I live in Vancouver and it rains all time. I have 2 rainboots not coach though and iwear them often in fall and winter. Girls wear them with tights or skinny jeans. It's quite a fashion statement here. They are heavy and tight in the calf. Your feet get sweaty quick though cause of the rubber.

bumping this thread, has anyone bought the rain boots recently? do they fit true to size? TIA!! i want to get rainboots, but i feel like I would rather get coach ones if I can :-)

My favorite topic of the day!! I just bought a pair today! I got the Roxanne Black/Pink ones. I had the hardest time deciding what color I wanted. I have ALWAYS wanted a pair of rainboots and almost broke down and bought a pair yesterday at target, but went home to read the reviews, and they were terrible! I hope these work! I wish I had some when I DID live in a Snowy/Rainy place, but I'll moving to another in a couple of months. No shame in being prepared!

I have been wondering how they are too! I'm in East TN where we don't get much if any snow in the winter, but it can rain quite a bit. So I think standard winter boots are overkill, but the rainboot might be what I am looking for!
