I know this is probably a dumb question, but do people really wear rain boots? Or is it just for the look? I guess where I live, I can't imagine needing rain boots. Just (politely) asking.

They're becoming popular, especially with the younger crowd I 'd say. I would love to get a pair, but I have rather large calf muscles and have a hard time with high boots. If they made ankle rain boots I'd be all over them.

I'm a 8 or 8 1/2 so it really hard for me to find boot on sale. Once they hit the sales rack....i'm doomed b/c it seems that everyone has that size foot.

Boy..I black raincoat and a pair of black Coach boots would look awesome!

They had them in the Coach stores late last year. I would have bought a pair but I just bought a pair of Burberry rain boots a few weeks earlier.

me too.. new york is pretty rainy, and when it does, my shoes get horribly soaked! if they re not rubber, it s horrible the shoes stink for days and... sorry for the details lol but u get the point! i m glad they came back for adults! it is sooo hard to find my size in rain boots

Well, I am not THAT young and definately not part of an "IN" crowd, LOL!

Up here, rain boots would be ideal for 3 out of our 4 seasons!
