What?! What do you mean in the middle? are there two zips that meet in the center?
Oh wait, shut my mouth. I know what you mean. The zip is in the middle of the main opening of the bag. Is that what you mean?
I just won an eBay auction for this bag and havne't ever seen on in the flesh. I'm excited about receiving her and am a little disappointed to see her on this list of regrets.
Ace Satchel. The opening is too small. Nice bag love the green but no love.
The Peanuts (2nd Edition) Snoopy large black Duffel Bag -- way too large! Plus I hated that bucket bag shape, even though I liked it when I saw it online before ordering. I left the tags on and never wore it -- recently sold it on EBay (at a loss ). The smooth leather was nice and Snoopy was too cute on the front, but it was gargantuan!
I'm glad to hear you say that, that is what has kept me from buying an Ace. I hate it when the back of my hand gets scratched or my wallet gets scratched by the zipper because the opening isn't large enough.
I remember buying the Anna Sui duffel (the brown western style one) at LA because it was so popular back then. I tried it on at my hotel and realized it was too heavy and big for my frame. I ended up returning it the next day.
Also, the Coach Kristen Hippie. Gorgeous bag, buttery leather, fun to carry and versatile... unfortunately the strap and multiple rings made the bag very squeaky when I carry it and walk around. It was annoying so I ended up selling it.
Also... the most recent dinosaur Steggy coin purse. Only because I can't find anything to use it for. It is also too wide so whenever I put it in my bag, it takes up the entire space. I could use it for spare change, but I don't like carrying extra coins in my bag and make it heavier than it should be. Very cute, but not practical enough for me to justify the $67 cost.
For me it was the rogue 25... solely because of the handles. I don't hand carry & they just annoyed me to no end because the couldn't hang outside the bag... if I stuffed them in the sides it made the side pockets also annoying to get in & out of. Beautiful bag but impractical for me. But all is well - sold my rogue and appeased my coach urge with a dinky instead which I absolutely LOVE. I have to keep talking myself out of buying another one!
Yellow suede and leather full size borough. I got it as a retail return in an outlet store for like $300 but wouldn't be able to return it. I LOVED the boroughs, structured and classy. Uggg, when i filled that puppy up with work stuff including my extremely light laptop, i thought my arm was going to fall off! So heavy! Also, no feet. who makes a $600 bag w/o feet? I hated carrying it, than having to put it on a table or chair feeling like a pretentious snob. Sad to say i sold it on ebay for practically nothing, like $35. booooooo
