Thank you Kallison. I think you feel where I am coming from in regards to what I pay for a bag versus what people think I got off Peachtree Street in downtown Atlanta. I have a fake LV speedy 30 in my office area as I type, but I cannot bring myself to carry it. The zipper scratches my hand every time I reach into it. I would hope the real thing would be better than that!
that's the same reason i don't have an monogram lv stuff. if everyone is just going to assume it's fake anyways, what's the point in spending that much money?!
i agree...and it totally sucks the fakes have to ruin it for you! i was shopping while in london and was looking at some lv stuff. and part of me wanted some splurge purchase there, but i KNEW i would be disappointed once i got back home (to people who carry lots of fakes). and it ruined it for me (especially since a mono speedy is all i could afford).I completely agree with you, Kallison! I used to love LV and that was the first designer brand I fell in love with but I don't even want to wear my authentic LV bags anymore. I just noticed that subconsciously all the fakes have detroyed my love for LV. Even my fiance (who does not really care about bags) said to me two days ago that LV has been over-faked and he does not understand why people still spend money on LV Monogram stuff either. It's sad but true IMO![]()
The real ones zipper does not scratch. The brass is dull. You shouldnt care if someone thinks your bag is authentic, you know it is ,and thats what should only matter. I know how you feel I live in NYC,and I have seen way too many fakes, but people these days are becoming very aware on the diffrences between authentic, and fakes.![]()
