Thanks so much for the detailed comparison to the izzy! Definitely helpful :)
You are very welcome !

I pared down my keys quite a bit after someone told me that the weight of all the keys could damage my ignition. I don't know if that is true but I didn't want to take any chances.
Thanks, good information ! This makes sense, so I took off at least 3 brass key fobs ! Didn't need the extra weight in my purse either. (robot key fob was kinda heavy...)

OOoooooh, I like it, looks very very nice. Hmmmm...... :)
That was my thoughts when I saw all the other reveals the first time.:smile1:

I'm a little late here but does anyone happen to have comparison shots of the two bags being worn? I can't seem to find many pics of the hobo being worn w/o the crossbody strap (which is how I'd wear it--I want something I can toss on my shoulder).

Also, I'm 5'3 and am concerned that the hobo will look huge on me. Any thoughts? Thanks and thanks for the beautiful shots! They're both great bags. I think the compartments in the Phoebe would annoy me, but I'm going to try them both out at the store tomorrow (if they have the hobo--I've heard it was deleted).

From what I hear, the stores have them, you just have to ask for it. I am 5'1" and i wear the hobo by the short strap. I love it and don't think it looks big on me. I don't know if an onlooker would say the same thing :-)

I have tried to like the Phoebe so many times since it came out, but could never bring myself to buy it. The two times I thought I should, it went back the next day for I knew this was one bag that I would not use.

Hope this helps.

Look in the Madison Hobo Clubhouse thread - I know there's numerous mod shots in there, including mine, if I'm not mistaken! I'm 5'1" and I don't consider the Hobo to be a big bag at all. It looks like a huge flat rectangle when it's empty, but when it has stuff in it, it slouches beautifully.

I just went on the website to check out the Madison hobo 27858 and it appears to be gone? Is it deleted? Does anyone know?

It's a relatively new bag isn't it?
Yes, it is pretty new. I was surprised how quickly it got deleted. I love the style !
All I can think is that the HOBO was more expensive to make than the new Sullivan hobo so COACH may have saved some money making Sullivan hobo style instead.
I like the Madison hobo much better than the Sullivan because of the chain on the strap, the COACH name plate, engraved name in clips and finished (sewn) edge on top near zipper. Really good looking bag for $358.00 minus PCE. The Bleecker cost more and looks so minimalist imo.
