It is difficult sometimes. In the case of these, they both have an insert that Coach never uses. The one on the brown wallet is used on tons of counterfeits. The Coach imprint on the inside is in the wrong place on both wallets. If you look at authentic wallets, you can see it should be closer to the corner. Coach never made a style that looks like the way the orange one is laid out. On the brown signature, the pattern should be centered, so the C's on each side of the center stripe would be identical. In this case, they aren't.

You're welcome. Now that I look more closely, I can see that the other wallet listed by the same seller is also fake. The slots are holes rather than pockets. The "leather" tab on the front is too pebbled.

It's something where you need to have looked at a lot of Signature Optics, but after a while you can tell right away when the pattern is off, like that one. It has one detail that you find in older Optic fakes and never in real ones. The buckle is all wrong too, and the grommets are cheap and flimsy. Don't buy ANY "Coach" items from SPONGEBOOB29

Older fakes (before the style numbers went to five digits) are usually easier to spot than newer ones.
