Ugh! Entrupy is at the point (or close to it) where there are as many wrong "authentications" as right. They might as well cover their eyes and point.

For anyone myopic enough to still believe that ENTRUPY is worth paying for, here are a few photos as proof. A quick Google search will turn up posts at Ebay and here at tPF that firmly declare that a J8H-Coach prefix is ALWAYS fake, along with dozens of photos of multiple fakes with that same serial prefix.

Does anyone notice a slight problem visible in the last 2 photos and even the first one with the turnlock placement? Like, on a bag that's at least 10 inches across the front, the turnlock is at least an inch off-center, maybe more.
If anyone seeing this is a Goodwill.com customer, please feel free to send them a link to this post. And let's hope they remove that POS permanently.

OfferUp is as bad as Poshmark and Etsy when it comes to ignoring reports.
I did report it and sent the link directing them to this page. I got an email back saying that "they are looking into it". The bids are at $85 now. Hopefully this will be taken down before the auction ends and someone is ripped off.
For several years, I've declined to authenticate and promote Poshmark as a safe venue because of their horrible lack of appropriate handling of issues and now, based on Goodwill and Shopgoodwill's continued dependence and trust in Entrupy and lack of action when items are returned, I'm about to stop authenticating and recommending Goodwill listings.
This isn't to say that I believe Goodwill is knowingly selling fakes with inaccurate COAs but to depend on AI when there have been so many examples of mistakes (and items returned to them by buyers) and to continue to use that authentication service tells me that Goodwill either doesn't GAS or they believe that merely having a COA releases them from wrongdoing is disgraceful.

Until they change their evil ways, Im going to recommend that tPF members avoid their listings. And assume that Entrupy "COA"s are even less trustworthy.
And another warning from the Daria48 Fake Coach Numbers List:
"J8H- and J8Y- serial prefixes are always fake"

@Hyacinth I was just reading your excellent Italian coach guide above and I have a question. I am currently rehabbing a Gramercy Top Handle 7002 bag from 1999 (that you graciously authenticated for me) see below for one of the auction pictures. I am trying to figure out the color name for this...

The "H" plant had been PERMANENTLY closed and the plant code "H" retired for the better part of a year by the month code "J" for September shown in the always fake serial prefix. And we've NEVER seen a geuine Coach with a J8H- prefix.

Yes you did - Thank You. But Goodwill.com, GOODWILL OF SOUTHWESTERN PENNSYLVANIA, and Entrupy just screwed someone for $317 for a horrible, SUPER-badly constructed POS. Why TF does anyone still do business with either one of them?
I got another email from them after directing GW (again) to this page on tpf as well as explaining that Entrupy is AI, not reliable and often incorrect. Here is their response:
"Hello,
Entrupy is a reputable company, we have never had an issue with using them to verify our products- if you do have an issue we ask that you please contact them directly
Thank you"
