Just one quick look at that Posh listing proves beyond the shadow of a doubt that " excess_baggage " doesn't have a clue about either dating OR authenticating Coach products.

I don't thing IG has any reporting system for fakes. And it doesn't play nicely with my browser either.

There used to be an excessbaggage seller of Dooney on ebay. (She did know her Dooneys.) That ID appears to no longer be associated with the same person because the current person with the ID is in UK.

After being called out on Poshmark for having to listings for fake Coach bags, I came back to give kudos to the seller for ending her listings! I (mistakenly) thought she was an honest one who made a mistake or 2.

But before posting, I checked her listings again and found that yes, she did end the listings in which she was told the bags were fake but sadly, a2urbanvixen relisted so others wouldn't see the comments letting her know that the bag was NOT authenticated and is indeed fake.

The creed looks the same, the outlet "bullet" seems to be in the same location, but check out the tassels in photo #2 of the listing - stitching across the top of the tassel. I've attached photos of what the tassels look like on what she sent - no stitching.

What do you think? Is this authentic? I usually assume when they have the bullet it is safe. Seller claims she had two bag same color and condition, and that she may have "mixed up the photos between the two".

This is probably a stupid question, but give me a break, it's late.

Are those leather endcaps on the drawstring the same on both sides? I think the seller's correct when she says she mixed up the photos between 2 identical bags, the stitching on one set of endcaps is coming a bit loose. But both creed photos look identical so if the photo you posted is of the bag you received, it's genuine. MORE OPINIONS ARE WELCOME.

ETA - Just a heads-up. She DOES have at least one fake listed, that bubble-gum pink "hippie backpack" with an always fake serial number prefix K3H- and a color never used by Coach in vintage leather bags since the days of Bonnie Cashin.

EATA - Whoops, spoke too soon. The Periwinkle Drawstring doesn't look quite right either but the creed photo isn't as clear as I'd like. I would NOT risk buying anything from this seller
" LindasCoachCloset " on Etsy.

AND another one - Vintage dark red leather backpack was definitely NOT made by Coach either.
