LOL! The listing had been removed before I saw it but I was able to find a cache. If Coach "verified" this, they're worse than I thought but I don't believe that wisdombargains1 even brought it to a Coach store!

And in fact, it's a legitimate generic (or possibly Rossetti) bag that is legal to sell, just not as "Coach."

Not a fake to report, just to ask if Etsy is one of those sites that take down items that break the rules or ignore them, like Poshmark.
I just came across this shop selling all kind of new Coach purses, in total violation of the rules, then remembered when I had a purse taken down, because was 19 years and a few month old and not 20 yet. My fault, no problem, but now they allow this?

Etsy really doesn't care. We reported sellers going back at least 5 or 8 years ago for listing non-vintage items and done were ever removed. Heck, we reported obvious fakes that were never removed either. Etsy really doesn't care as long as they get their fees. Anyone who buys Coach from Etsy without having the items authenticated is just asking for trouble.

I agree with you about the authentication but here's how "blingbossy" is getting away with selling non-vintage bags. They're selling "handmade" bags. :rolleyes:

IMO, sellers who mix are WAY more dangerous to buyers because buyers tend to trust a seller with authentic items.

If others would like to report, I'll happily post the listings. However the purpose of this post is to warn buyers to be cautious if considering this seller's items.

Personally, I don't recommend Dione Bassett on Tradesy and will not authenticate her listings if they come up on the AT Coach thread.
