Do the first two lines here SERIOUSLY say "this is the best bag it is made out of a completely natural....."?! This creed is absolutely hilarious!

The previous posts are from February when 7731.248 had multiple fakes in current (at the time) listings as well as completed listings of fakes.

And in addition to the fake @Lake Effect posted, she also has these fakes:
Current: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Mint-Vinta...568447?hash=item1cc1cdb5ff:g:emEAAOSwKM1b-ISI
Sold: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Coach-Leat...m43663.l44720&nordt=true&rt=nc&orig_cvip=true

ETA: At least 2 of the 3 listings above were previously reported and removed!
7731.248 - again! (This seller's history goes way back!)

And here's another Entrupy eff-up! THIS IS GETTING RIDICULOUS!

The creed on the fake bag has 3564 as the style number. This is what 3564 is SUPPOSED to look like:

And the following are pictures that Entrupy and the seller found to be authentic:

ETA: I just realized that this was another shopgoodwill/Entrupy authentication!

Seller- Goodwill of Central and Southern Indiana by way of Goodwill online
https://www.shopgoodwill.com/Item/64522716
Question, putting aside the fact the creed on the bag on the left indicates it's fake based on info in the Guides here, for the round bag, the creed is imprinted on the bottom? I don't think I've seen that before. It makes sense for a small bag.
Side note, the last time I reported a bag on the GW online for a TX agency, supplying the link here, I recieved a polite thank you and the auction continued on for the bag to sell for over $80 : /

The bag on the right (round base) is authentic. The bag with the J8P prefix is fake.

The whole listing should be ended!

And that's why I'd never buy from an online Goodwill store/listing.

Although their listings state that they're "posted in accordance with shopgoodwill.com's policy prohibiting the sale of counterfeit items," and to contact them with "any questions or concerns about the authenticity of this item," it's impossible to contact them without signing up and giving them all your personal information except ss. number!

I have an account. When I attempted to report a listing in the past, it seemed like my only option was to open a ticket and contact the individual GW agency directly, and I already indicated the response (and lack of action). Since this listing indicates it was, cough, cough, authenticated, I imagine they will do nothing if contacted.
Yup, buyer beware. Lurkers, you are warned.

And if THAT doesn't tell you about how untrustworthy those Entrupy "authentications" can be, nothing will.

A Google search should have found plenty of info on that fake J8P- serial prefix. And the idjits couldn't even manage to put the right style number on the "authentication" form, it should be 9139. Let's save this one for posterity. Click on the thumbnails.

and a GENUINE J8P- serial number bag from the Costa Rica plant which is the ONLY plant location that ever used that prefix with its "P" plant code in September (month code J) of 1998:

The posts above were posted on the authentication thread in March, 2019 when NOT RECOMMENDED shopgoodwill DOT com listed a fake that was "authenticated" by Entrupy.

In this post, Hyacinth posted a picture of Entrupy's "authentication." (I'll add the certificate picture here too, for reasons that will be shown later in my post:
shopgoodwill.com fake Coach J8P-9139 Entrupy cert CERTIFICATE.jpg

Well, apparently the buyer is reselling that fake using the SAME certificate as "proof" of authenticity however she has redacted shopgoodwill as the client.

Seller sweetp464
SWEETP464 also neglected to show the creed in her listing, making me wonder if she knows it's fake. (She had a fake Coach wallet a couple of weeks ago.)

And the SAME certificate with the SAME reference number.

And further evidence that they are one and the same item:

Ugh another fake rogue. One of the things that I used to find wrong along with many other incorrect details has now been corrected by the counterfeit makers. They are now using the correct orientation kisslock hardware but I'm not fooled.
