COACH Hall of Shame - Post Coach fakes here!

I just got duped with a little red Coach crossbody. Very faint creed stamp with no registration number, glue at the ends of the strap, thin leather, and uncharacteristic hardware. I just started buying bags on ebay, so I am not sure what to do as far as telling the seller that I know it's fake. She's taking a return (-10% restocking fee!) so I hesitate to accuse her. What are your thoughts on my responsibility to the eBay buying public?

Post a link to the listing and the seller's name in the authenticate thread, along with any additional pictures we need.

Read the first post of the thread to see what we need. Once we determine it is fake, and why, we will be able to help you formulate a response to the seller.

Persimmoncat, the sooner you can post those photos, the sooner we can help you try to get your money back.

As for your responsibility to other Ebay buyers, first concentrate on the seller's responsibility to YOU as the buyer. SHE'S the one breaking the law as well as Ebay's rules about selling fakes if the bag really does turn out to be fake. Her response will indicate how to handle it and how to deal with her if she refuses to do the right thing.
