Anyone figure out how to extend the bag charm so it hangs better when clipped to the hardware on the handle? Some of the charms clip on the handle hardware but stick out and don't drape well down the bag. I keep saying I wish they put the key ring piece between the clip and the bag charm so it gives it a little more length. Trying to figure out how I can rig this.

Some of them stick out in odd directions with the standard dogleash clip. I wish they would use those other clips like they have on some of the charms. I use round gate rings like these: https://www.ebay.com/itm/10pcs-1-1-...hash=item3d3b90dda6:m:mBM4bzoF6jJdxBMhi0Gp8Dw

Like whatev said, the dogleash clip makes them awkward sometimes. You can fix that if you don't mind altering it a bit. Using a small pair of needle nose pliers, insert the tip of the pliers in the top link and open enough to remove the clip. Close the link back, use a cloth or napkin between the pliers and link if you want to make sure not to leave a mark on the link. Then use a spring gate clip like the one in whatev's post to attach it to your bag. ( There are different sizes and colors of the spring gate clips ) If the chain is too small to use a spring gate clip, then use the key ring first and attach the key ring to a spring gate clip. For small charms / keychains I bypass the spring gate clip and just use ball chain like on the hang tag. Just make sure the connector has been pinched tight so it can't fall off. So far I've never lost a charm or hang tag and they all drape down as they should.

Thank you! I'll have to play with it. I was thinking of just using the spring gate clip on the handle and then clip my bag charm to that. You don't happen to have a photo of what you suggest? Thanks so much!

You could do that, but that sometimes makes them hang real low, plus all that hardware is a bit distracting on some charms. I'll see what I can dig up for a photo........
