I would have been so upset if I didn't notice until after the 30 days. Once I bought a keychain that was missing a charm. It took me quite a while to figure that out too. I had a little trouble returning it because I think they thought I had damaged it since I didn't return it right away.
Thoughts on mixing metals with handbag and fobs/hangtags (meaning handbag has one type of metal and fob has a different one)? Silver and gunmetal are pretty close - what about mixing either one of those with gold? Just curious what you all think.
I mix them. Too often I have a fob that is perfect in every way except that the metal color doesn't match. So I've gotten over my need to match. Right now I'm using my black cherry feather that has black hardware with a burgundy bag with brass hardware. I think the newer hardware colors they are using blend well with other metals.
Some of my favorite fobs are those that have multiple metal colors, or the fobs that have gold leather with silver hardware. Then it doesn't matter what hardware the purse has.
They sound like nice combos. Post a pic? I've been buying the new LE Coach hangtags and they all have silver or gunmetal hardware. Lately I've been using a lot of bags with gold hardware. I wasn't sure how I felt about the mix. I guess it depends on the bag and/or fob.
I try not to mix gold with silver. But I have occasionally broken that rule if a fob just goes really well with a particular bag. For ex, I have my shearling penguin charm that I use on my Bennett bag with light gold hw.
