My PCE fobs arrived today! I was slightly surprised to find that the feathers have more and smaller crystals and different hangtags than the stock photo on the website showed (I hadn't seen it in person before). I'm a little bummed I forgot about Ms. Robot when I ordered, but I'll get her someday.

You made great choices! Love the new dust bags, too. I never get those with my orders.

I posted this in the mini-reveal thread, but wanted to put it here too. Leather feathers, and lots of them.

My first "retail therapy" last month was an orange Coach mini Ruby bag. One of our birds is a freak, completely unexpected mutation of his species, and is almost entirely neon orange. (He's mommy's cuddly little "Mr. Orange Pants".) And by coincidence, his name is Ruby. So when Coach came out with the "orange" "Ruby", how could I *not* buy it? And how could I *not* pick up the orange feather to go with it???

1st pic .... My "orange Ruby" with orange feather .... and my OTHER "orange Ruby", also with orange feathers.

2nd pic ... A Wing of Feathers.

The black one was from last year when they accidentally started selling the Dakotah bag fob as an independent item. I restrung its pieces onto more reliable hardware, plus a lobster claw.

The white and blue I purchased on our July wedding anniversary .... just three days after our little blue and white lovebird passed. (And she died on our first-date-anniversary. Sigh, that'll knock down anniversaries for a while. We're back to having eight birds, but in terms of utter personality, she was the heart of the house.)

Blush I grabbed from ebay because I love the color too much and just didn't want to miss it.

Orange and black cherry from PCE.

And believe me, I'm careful with them. I never did trust those screws that hold Coach's new "clips" onto their fobs and straps. I keep the larger keyring within the clip at all times (it will save the feathers if the screw comes out), and always use additional, homemade safety chains as well.

What a beautiful collection, including the real Ruby.
I just tried to order the blush, which my SA said is really petal, and it isn't available.

Thanks whateve. :flowers:

Are you sure your SA was looking at the right listing? B5 is indeed Coach's color code for "blush" ... I'm looking at it right now on both a receipt for a blush wristlet for daughter, and on Coach's page source-code. B5=Blush. And the tag that came on the feather also had B5 (which is also visible on the remaining ebay listing). So it's definitely blush as far as Coach's tag is concerned. .... But I wonder if that means there might be a "petal" color coming? Which would be nice?

Ok, so I just looked, and yeah, apparently "petal" is another light pink color that Coach uses. (And I swear the pinks look alike. Like they need yet another color that's a mere one digit different in shade. Eyeroll.)

But yeah, the feather's tag is B5. :) And there are still a couple on ebay. No PCE, but at least you save sales tax. :)

I've thought about ordering it from ebay. I just got the cherry with PCE. I've ordered from that ebay seller before but the last time I made an offer on an item, she ended the listing and relisted it for double her original price.
