Yea, trying to get the collection down to only one of each fob instead of having multiples of a lot of them. :blushing: Also storing some instead of displaying most of them. It had gotten out of control and looked like so much clutter instead of a collection. There's only a few that I've gotten rid of that I only had one of.....there were a few I found I didn't care for once I saw them in person.

That's funny. I'm getting ready to display mine rather than store them. It bothers me that I can't see what I have. There are a few I sold (or returned) when I wasn't really collecting that I really wish I still had but I can't bring myself to pay more for them than I originally sold them for!

I don't think I've had all of them displayed at once in a long time, not enough room on the corkboards and so far I've resisted in buying another board. So I've been kind of 'rotating stock'. Like a museum, take a display down and put up another. :laugh:

I'm still collecting though, I'm just being more selective and not buying two of the really cute ones because I rarely use fobs on my bags anymore.

I'm making my display less cluttered / too busy looking and more eye pleasing / calmer to look at.....if that makes sense.

It makes absolute sense! I tell myself that I need to unload some and only keep the ones love but when I try to cull the herd I end up worrying about sellers regret.

On another note I've added a dozen or so pretty special ones lately. I've got to get them up and take pics.

Whateve, I have big time red fish envy!!

Really? You don't have it already? It amazes me when I get one you veterans don't already have! I was in the right place at the right time. I hit that BIN for $50 about 2 minutes after it was listed.

I am afraid of that too, so I don't take one down and immediately sell it. I put them in little bags and store them in a cardboard box until I end up getting a bunch of them in there. During that time, if I miss one, I go get it back out. When I finally get around to listing them, if I come across one that I think I'll really miss, I put it back.

I've sold lots of fobs and so far I haven't regretted a one. I have / had gone past the point of being a fob collector into the realm of being a fob hoarder. This is not the first time either. I seem to have the type personality that takes a collection and turns it into a hoarding event. :shame: Then I get to feeling anxious about it all and then it's culling time.....again. :p

OK, this is how bad my addiction is...I DO HAVE the red fish! I just forgot.

It really is time to do something about this issue.

I've done that with quite a few things, especially clothes. I've bought the same thing twice because I didn't realize I already had it!

But now I've purposely bought two of the same fob so I've moved into a whole 'nother realm.

My only problem is that they aren't organized enough. I just spent 10 minutes looking for a fob. Once I have them arranged nicely, it will be a collection, not an obsession.
