Has anyone heard anything new on these BDU-patterned bags?
Normally I wouldn't carry a bag with a print on it, but I was an Army brat and these are hitting all my nostalgia buttons. (Can't believe it's been over a decade since they switched to digis...)

I ask if my store had one for new floor and they said no only mini and reg size. They looked up to see if they could order and of course no info.
Maybe what I saw was the mini - it was very tiny, so that would make sense! I don't own any of those bags, so am not familiar with all the sizes. It was adorable, whatever size it was!

Anyway, I came very close to saying YES to the croc Gramercy, I really love it. It looked great with what I was wearing today etc. The turnlock does get in the way of the internal zip pocket a bit but it's ok. I almost said YES to the Robot key chain too!
I believe that the Gramercy bags could sell out locally because we have tons of Asian tourists who buy up Coach because Coach costs less in NA compared with Asia. The Gramercy bags are truly very lovely - these are light weight as well.
I am really waiting to see if The Bay will stock the Gramercy because if it does, it won't be long before I can get 25% off that's just the plain truth.

- med leather gramercy - oxblood/black 545 cad or 495 usd
- med printed stripe hair calf gramercy - 1210 cad or 1100 usd - we think we figured out where the 795 usd (845 cad) JAX pricing came from - those are mini hair calf gramercy bags!? Who knew? We do not recall seeing the word Mini hair calf or 10" wide hair calf in any description but yea; I think this caused the confusion
- med croc embossed gramercy - mink 765 cad - SA told me this is Premium grade Italian cowhide which is excellent, excellent quality. I believe it

I got to see some stuff today--I did not think I was going to like the Gramercy but now I think I need one!
I saw the Borough and did not love the leather. I will take another look at it when it is released next week. The B is one of my faves, so I gotta give it a chance!.
Hey! I totally agree with you on the red current Turnlock Borough - it's ok but doesn't blow me away at all. I can talk myself into it because I already LOVE the med pebbled Borough bags, period and it would be nice to have this new design with the more open/easy access center compartment. BUT the shade is a tad towards rusty red which I don't "want". Gee, if it were more lush...vibrant, dramatic, like a dark velvet red or dark Holly...deep rich cranberry...dunno...it's deep brick red which is ok but just ok, imo.
I really, REALLY like the leather Gramercy in oxblood too. If not for loving croc right now (and matte croc embossed leather to boot), I would have snatched up the Oxblood at 545 today. That's a reasonable price. Actually, I was relieved to hear that the croc was 765 cad...I was worried that it was going to be a lot more!
Interesting comments! I am going to take another look at everything this weekend, but right now I think I am passing on the Med Red Currant Borough too. The color did not have oomph...and I have a vermillion Borough so I can be picky!
Now that I have seen the Gramercy, I am curious to see the croc version. Did you get to see it in person? Of all the contemporary brands I think Coach consistently makes the best croc embossed leather...so I am open to it. But still want it on sale!

YES - I was modeling and playing with the croc Gramercy the most; 2nd the oxblood. I have to walk away from the hair calf - I just don't want to go there (not used to Coach bags being so $$$. I know they've put out $$$ limited edition bags in the past but still, at this price point, I'm looking at other brands more seriously).
Back to croc embossed leather (contemporary brands) - oh, is this what your research tells you? I can believe it. I've managed to avoid all croc, ostrich and lizard embossed leather bags even by premier designers BUT when I found the Coach Legacy Harper in croc embossed leather, I really fell for it. It was 50% off at Winners and I went back/forth for it. Bought it, returned it, regretted and bought it again. I'm glad I kept her but now, when it comes to croc embossed handbags: I have visions of the Fendi Peekaboo croc and the Hermes croc Birkin! Neither of those will happen in my life time so...the croc Gramercy is looking pretty good. I have one on hold along with the robot key chain
Again, I'm only concerned that if The Bay receives any croc Gramecy bags, I know I can get 25% off. The Bay already stocks the mink croc Crosby and other ocelet hair calf bags.
