I've been enquiring locally re: various Gramercy bags including the printed hair calf. It was quoted as $795 usd and $845 cad in early Sept but I think that may have been the pricing for the regular size at 13.5"


These must be the larger 15" ones!? The black & red current Gramercy bags are on the Coach website now, both sizes $495 and $595 usd. The 15" Gramercy on the model doesn't look crazy huge but yes, it is a large bag.

Here's the tag for the hair calf. It's medium we looked it up in store.

Wow! I could have ordered in early Sept - my super nice SA looked up several Gramercy bags for me and we saw the JAX numbers!? It would have been 845 cad for hair calf and 545 cad for the regular smooth leather.


Coach must have decided on a new price point? Oh well, that does it for me - as prices creep up, I consider other brands.

Yes, same here. Through JAX, the price is/was 795 usd and 845 cad. What's up with Coach? Who's minding the store? How can it be 1100 msrp in store but 795 usd through the distributor? Is that like wholesale pricing? What a mess.

It is kind of ridiculous...I'm thinking of letting my unused light blue go, since I'm getting obsessed about the peanuts merchandise; even then, I won't try to fleece someone for it. Don't even know if I can get my hands on the Surrey satchel though, but I'm going to try and see. It's really frustrating they won't let people order until the 24th.

Oh gosh, I just got Coach's email today with their latest bags and they are G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S!!
Pricey but just so beautiful..........actually after lusting after LV's for the past few months the prices don't seem so bad....;)

But yep thats the Red Rhyder 33. But its mine. I took it in the store for my store manager to check it out. While there I got pictures of gramercy for comparison for a few friends that asked. So i guess it is funny in a way. Ha

I thought it was standard Coach--you know, something is "sold out" but then ends up at the outlet! Would not be the least bit surprised! :smile1:

Also, I thought for a second it was yours but it had the price tag still on it. Are you still in the decision mode--trying to decide if it stays or goes back?
