It may be an error but I pulled the trigger fast! On Amazon Canada, the price of the Empire 28 maple is $565.43! On the US site it is $550 USD which converts to about $740 CAD. That's almost a $200 difference before tax. Just hoping there are no unpleasant surprises 
Happy to got hold of the Empire 40 in Maple, was very hard to get in my country (Germany). Totally adore it!

I was hesitant because of this too but I couldn't do the larger sizes that is completely zipped on top either because I don't need that much bag. I definitely understand the need for a zipper. I wonder why they didn’t make it similar to the empire 40.
Im a nervous wreck when my bag is open. The neverfull is a struggle for me which is why I probably don’t like it much 😂
. Similarly, I like the reverse mono OTG PM but it’s too open for me.Are there any short ladies who purchased the empire 40? I like it better that the small version, but I am only 5’1” and I wonder will it overwhelm me or will the slouch of the bag offset the big initial large size when the leather is not as pliable.
