I'm just guessing but I suspect it's more beechwood. What is frustrating is that the one they show on the Coach homepage looks totally gray yet gray is not available. Irritating. Looking forward to some reveals & reviews. I didn't care for the bulky hardware on the recent Page bag & I wonder if the hardware on this is the same.
Haha I texted my SA thinking that one was my cadet but with darker hardware and she said it was sage. I'll know if the sage I ordered last week ever ships.
She did say nude pink was essentially beechwood so I think you're right there.
I saw thw black one in store last week. I haven't really be drawn to anything new for a while with Coach but this bag is gorgeous. I especially like that they took out the kisslock inside, although it's pretty and adds detail I was never a fan of the bulk it added in smaller bags(and the dents on some of my leather slg's). I can't wait to see peoples reveals of this bag.
I'm picking up my cadet Cooper tonight. I'm a little concerned that it seems heavy on the brass hardware. I told my SA to open it up and send me pics. I'll make a final decision when I see it in person.
I did the same thing. They should really change how they do their lighting for these photos.
I saw that too, and initially thought it was the black one with light shining on it just right, but the hardware is the wrong color. It can't be the Cadet either, because that bag also has brass hardware. Hmm...
That is so hard to wrap my head around. The color looks WAY off. That photo is going to cause them a lot of grief, I'm guessing. I would love a gray version of this bag (as the photo suggests it is). I bought the black one this morning. I haven't loaded it up yet, but it didn't feel heavy in the store, and the size/dimensions were just perfect!
I know! I texted my SA about the color. I have no idea why they would photograph the bag in lighting that doesn't show the true color. Glad you like yours!
