OK first glance, she's big and weighs next to nothing. Comfy strap, easy in and out. The leather's fine for the price point, fairly soft although there's some structure. I think the corners will get banged up but again at this price point I'm willing to risk it. If there was something between this and the 28 I might consider sizing down but the 28 will be too small for me. Plus she'll smoosh in a little as I wear her. And I love big bags. (Excuse the sh*tty photo, I have no good light anywhere). I'm 5'1" for reference.

Yes! Another petite person that likes big bags. I'm 5.2". I went to try both sizes and I ended up loving the 39. I'm tempted to buy it, but I have to be realistic and realized I'm probably going to carry next to nothing in it, so it's better to get the 28. I actually agree that there should have been a size between the 28 and the 39, especially since they are coming out with a smaller size.

I don't carry a ton but I just love the feel of large bags. Plus if I buy something it's easy to pop it in.

For those of you'll with the 39, can someone measure from the mouth (opening) of the bag to the base? I just realized that on Coach's website they measure the height including the handle, but most of the time the height measurement doesn't include the handle. I got my Brooklyn 28 today and I measured from the opening to the base, and it's actually 8.5" - 9", so far me it really is a 9"H x 11"W bag versus the 11" Hx 11"W bag they have listed on the website.

Edit: So I just went back and measured the 28 from the handle to base and that's 17". So now I'm wondering how tall the 39 really is.
