OK, so I asked CS what would happen if I wanted a bag that's "Can't Ship to Canada" on the website. I gave her the black top handle Riley with the snakeskin detail as an example
She said that if the bag is in store I can order directly through t hem. Well, yeah - but would the store actually get them??
She said "certainly, many of our bags are also in stock in the Canadian stores."

But then proceeded to say...oh, that bag you are looking at is not currently in stores in Canada, so you'll have to ship to a US address or buy in person...

Ummmm so that was certainly no help!

Yeah, I get really irritated with this. I don't understand why these items cannot be shipped directly to consumers if they ship into Canadian stores. Canada does not actually have a ban on the import and sale of these materials. It's just some arbitrary rule that Coach has.

I didn't know if it was some sort of Canadian ban on snakeskin or what but I agree with you.
I think I'm SOL for that runway bag (the rust Signature with the wave pattern) since that has Snakeskin detail. I *could* ship to my sister in the US, but then she'd have to deal with the shipping or I'll have to wait at least a few months to pick it up :hrmm:

Ooh I hope they make this in more colors. How does the Riley compare to the dinky or dinky 24 size wise? I never considered it before because I'm not a huge fan of coated canvas.

i have the Dinky and the Riley. The Riley fits significantly more. Both are 1941 collection so it’s more or less equal in terms of quality. I prefer the Riley as it’s more practical. I’m not a fan of signature canvas too, but the one with brown leather is so classic....

Saks has this version of Cassie, with colourblocked pebbled/smooth leathers and a C turnlock.

I like. I like this beechwood saddle too, but am holding out hope the sunrise color comes to USA. A satchel I have my eye on is coming soon too. Love the description of buttery soft leather. And they are incorporating novelty straps into designs, I really like this move.
