What is the actual color name of the blue rogue you purchased?
I think its « steel blue » but I need to check on the tag. Its still all wrapped, I am using the melon now. I will get back to you.
I paid $500 for a NWT black rogue in the original medium size last February (on Tradesy) and got a Beechwood color block rogue 25 like new for around $350 on Ebay last summer. So no, I would not pay full price because much better deals are out there. I still look out for the Bamboo 25 every now and then on Ebay but most people want retail or close to it. It just depends on what you're willing to spend. I wouldn't pay full price if you know you want to sell in the future. I buy my bags with the intention of keeping them for the long haul, so I don't take resale value into consideration.
I bought a melon rogue and a silver rogue when they are 50% off. I found out I never use the silver one and decide to sell it. I tried to sell it on eBay but eBay and PayPal charge me 15% fee. So I have to sell higher then the sale price but no one want to buy it. It looks like I have to lower the price then even I never really touch it I lose money.
I have five Rogues, all bought directly from Coach. None of them had a chemical smell.
I received a Butterscotch Rogue directly from Coach that smelled chemically. I just chalked it up to perhaps the different dyes they had to use on that one as compared to the other colour Rogues I have.
