Is the red flamenco a deep brownish red? I wasn't sure from pictures, but would you be able to describe how it looks in person?

I'd been wanting a Puzzle for a while, but nothing that made me pull the trigger until I saw this beauty in the lunar new year capsule collection. When I saw this Spring Jade Small Puzzle in store, I understood what it means when a bag makes your heart sing, so here is my early birthday present to myself. The colour on the website doesn't do it justice, and actually this photo (no filter, natural sunlight) also doesn't do it justice, it's a hard colour to accurately capture on camera, I think. It's definitely more saturated in real life, and Spring Jade is an accurate name! It's almost got a luminescent quality to the colour, which is why I think it shows as more pale through a camera.
I'm not well versed in Loewe leather, but from what I can feel, this bag's satin calfskin is buttery smooth and does not have a slick finish. It also smells like divine leather, no plastic or chemical scent. There is no grain on the leather, but it does show gorgeous characteristics of veining and other natural aspects. It most definitely has wrinkles, but they do not appear to be a result of pulling during the crafting of the bag. It appears to simply be the characteristics of the leather. I'm not about to try and scratch this bag, but I wouldn't say that this satin calfskin appears any more fragile than lambskin.
Wow wow wow, it's the actual original Puzzle! LOVE the color, jade donut strap, and dragon charm. Happy early birthday!! I would just share that it's good to be careful with the satin calfskin as it can pick up indentations and marks easier than some of the other leathers. Enjoy!
Yes! I was so surprised that the Lunar New Year collection were all the original Puzzle (they released the Small size in 4 colours), with the traditional metal hardware and not the tone-matched hardware! I knew then and there that it was meant to be.
Thank you for the early birthday wishes, and for the information on the satin calfskin. I'd read up a lot on it before making the purchase, so I know that it's a delicate leather. I would otherwise have opted for their classic calfskin, but this colour is just out of this world. And with all of the matching accessories - I was just a goner from the minute I saw it. It also helps that I'm generally careful with my bags anyway, so I'm quite optimistic about being able to keep it in good condition!
Also from the reviews I've read on the Howl's Moving Castle Puzzles, which were all in satin calfskin, this bag's satin calfskin doesn't appear to be similar to those. It's structured, but it doesn't feel stiff, and it doesn't feel like it'll scratch if I just look at it wrong. It makes me wonder if perhaps the leather for this capsule collection is from a different tannery, or has a different coating applied to it.
