I once messaged them about an item and asked if it was the exact bag. They said "No, photographing every item individually would take far too much time". They seem to operate like a regular on-line store that only has 1 example picture of an item.

You can't assume it's the EXACT bag unless the seller specifically says so. And if unsure, always ask!!

that is so frustrating and lazy.
it really doesn't take that much time.

It does when you list 100+ items per day as they do....

eh, to an extent, I used to list about 50+ things a day for my father's store he had on ebay during retirement before he died and always took photos of everything and never spent more than a few hours at a time, the key is to use all the tools that are out there for ebay as well as take the photos prior to listing not as you list, but I'm sure for some people they feel it's too much work and / or they work other jobs so they don't have the time.

Uhm, well, I'm new here. I just bought my first tokidoki bag. (They are just brilliant!) Anyway, now I'm concerned that in my ignorance I may have purchased a fake. This is the auction I just won:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...MEWN:IT&viewitem=&item=180130171963&rd=1&rd=1

And while there are loads of pictures and it looks okay to my untrained eye, I am now concerned about the seller's private feedback.

What is your opinion?

it looks good. and that seller has been selling authentic tokidokis. congratz!

It looks real to me!

Whew! I'm so happy that this is looking good! (I've been eyeballing some of this seller's other tokidoki items as well.) It's a relief to know that there's a place to go to check this stuff out.

Now I just have to figure out what my next tokidoki bag going to be . . .

I had a couple friends that worked for a store that made most of their money on their eBay store. They photographed every item they put up on eBay. They had to be listing 100+ items/day, since that's the only way they made money [the physical store gotzero business]. So, I think if that's their primary income, they should photograph every item..and maybe then they'd realize they could make more on tokis (with good printplacement) that way. ha
