I think it is fake. I think the writing arch should be higher (i'm comparing it to one on the tiffany website)

I just took my bracelet (which I purchased at the Tiffany store) and compared it to the picture you posted. My engraving looks quite different. "PLEASE RETURN TO" and "NEW YORK" are much finer. The "&" also looks different. In addition, there is "925" engraved on the very top of my pendant.

Hi,
I bought this item on eBay and the seller insists its authentic. Its a bit shiny, though, and the pouch it came in is fake. She inisists repeatedly she bought it herself from NYC and knows its real, would never sell a fake, etc. Is there a way to tell? She seems to be genuine, but I'm not sure how to proceed. Is there a way to tell with this particular lock? Here are a couple of photos I took. Thanks for any help you can provide.

I am no expert and can't comment about its authenticity, but are sure the pouch is fake? Tiffany does change their pouches. I have jewelry from 5 years ago that came in completely different pouches than to the pouches I received my most recent jewelry in. Just thought I would share. Maybe try the Tiffany sub-forum I am sure someone will be able to help you there. Good luck! I hope it is genuine.
