And you’re right, I was thrown by the tag saying shoulder bag and wicker. It is the authenticity card that came with this bag. Thanks jessica. I have a feeling I bought a super fake

It’s very possible. I just emailed Stella McCartney to inquire about the change purse on the foldover bag because they’re not open today for phone calls. I’ve only seen them on the large totes. Does the seller take returns? If not, you can always threaten to leave negative feedback which usually works. I falsely accused my seller of selling me a fake and said I was going to leave bad feedback and she immediately was going to take it back. But she then paid for me to have a professional authenticator company authenticate it for me. They said it was real, then I reached out to Stella McCartney and they had me send pictures and reassured me the bag was real. So I apologized to my seller. It’s tricky buying on eBay. I recently got into David Yurman jewelry and getting that authenticated is even harder. The store won’t authenticate if they know you bought it online. So I’ve been very picky about who I buy from. I’ve seen sellers with 100% feedback and when I click on the product it says the listing ended. Very suspicious. I wonder if some make up their own feedback.. Can you return the bag? I also am suspicious of bags with the plastic on the labels. If you look at ioffer.com you’ll see where a lot of these fake sellers get the bags cheap then make a profit on eBay. There’s a woman I’ve seen sell the same black shaggy deer foldover bag every month. Plus she has pics of 2 different bags in her listing. I hate seeing people get scammed or ripped off and want to report these people!

Same, it’s so frustrating! I know if I tell eBay that it’s not authentic, they will take it back and make the seller take it back. What would you do if you were in my shoes? Just return it and not even hassle with it?

does your Falabella have a cell phone pocket?

No, mine doesn’t have the cell pocket. That’s another feature on the large tote, along with the pouch. If you scroll back a couple pages you’ll see my black foldover with silver chains and a beige small tote I purchased on eBay too. The lining on that bag doesn’t look authentic to me either. I personally would contact the seller first and tell her/him you know it’s a fake and you will return it for a refund. If they’re rude or non-responsive then I’d definitely have eBay step in and tell the seller you’re leaving negative feedback. I hope you didn’t pay too much for this bag. I’m always looking at these bags and you can definitely find an authentic one on eBay. I also have bought from RealReal and fashionphile. They both guarantee authenticity. I just bought a Falabella wallet on RealReal. The continental wallet in gray. I know you said the bag is beautiful but you’ll never be able to resell it if you get sick of it. Do you mind my asking what you paid and was this an auction? Did you have any previous contact with the seller? I’ve learned to always ask if an item is authentic. I hate to see you get ripped off. Tell them the so called authenticity card doesn’t even match the style of the bag. You have a good case to get a refund.

Hi I am wondering if this Falabella bag is authentic? Thanks!

Hi I am wondering if this Falabella bag is authentic? Thanks!
Hi! Do you have a link to the bag? I’m unfamiliar with this type of style. I own 5 Falabellas and have never seen this style. But the lining looks authentic and it has features that appear to be authentic. Does it give you measurements or the name of the style bag this is? Do you own it or just thinking of buying it? I could possibly help you out with more information. The green lining usually indicates an older model, as most linings are pink now. It’s looks smaller than the small tote. I know some bags are 10inches by 10 inches. The chains look good and the stitching looks authentic. I’m not sure when they added a cell pocket, but could find out by contacting Stella McCartney and chatting with a rep. Or emailing them. It’s an unusual style, but doesn’t mean it’s fake. I’ll try to help you out if you’re considering buying it.

Thanks for the awesome reply! I am thinking about buying it, but will email the company to authenticate it. Thanks again!

You’re very welcome! I love Falabellas and have learned quite a bit about them and what to look for regarding fakes. Stella McCartney online has been super helpful in authenticating a couple of my bags that were in question. I simply sent them photos and the date codes, something I would request from the seller, and within 2-3 days they responded that both bags were authentic. I felt relieved. If you don’t get a reply the first time, try again because that did happen to me initially. My instincts are telling me this bag is authentic, but always best to get the opinion of the real experts of Falabellas. Good luck!!

Hi again! I found the bag in question on eBay and the seller bought it from RealReal, so I don’t doubt it’s authenticity now. I’ve bought a few things from RealReal including a Falabella wallet recently. It’s a good price. I say go for it if you’re still interested. I would trust it and I’m highly skeptical of many bags lately. Hope this helps!

Hi I just purchased this Falabella medium light grey with 3 chains and am not sure if it’s authentic. Please refer to the pictures.

Hi! I’m not a professional authenticator, but know a lot about Falabellas. I have this bag in black. In my opinion, this bag is absolutely authentic. It has no signs of being a fake whatsoever. The lining looks good, stitching is tight, chains are correct and the size of the bag is totally in proportion for the shaggy deer foldover tote. I love this bag and want the gray now. But I already have 5 bags so I’d have to sell one to buy it. I did however just buy the Falabella continental wallet in dark gray and I love it. I’m just curious, what year is this bag? Check the date code inside the pocket. The gray is very popular right now and what’s being sold in all the department stores. If you’re still skeptical, I suggest contacting Stella McCartney online and sending them your pics. They authenticated 2 of my bags. Personally, I think you’re all good. Enjoy this beautiful bag!

Thank you again! This bag is the light grey color from SP17 according to the tag. It’s a gorgeous color ❤️
