Hi there! It appears as though no one is authenticating on this forum anymore. I’m no expert but own 4 authentic Falabellas and don’t think you have anything to worry about. Looks good to me and I love that style and color. I had one bag falsely called fake on here, so they’re not always accurate. Some advice would be to contact Stella McCartney online and they will authenticate for free with pictures. They’re the ones who reassured me my bag was real. Hope this helps!

Hello, Could you please authenticate my recent purchase? I’m a little worried because it has no label and the “...Made in italy” is not visible

Hi, as I said I’m not an authenticator, but this one concerns me a little. I have the black shaggy deer foldover and it’s the same size as the small tote. I’ve never seen the foldover style come with the pouch. I’ve only seen the pouch come with the large tote. The lining looks a little off too. Compare the lining and chain and shaggy deer material to the blue Falabella you bought because that one is def authentic in my opinion. Can you return this bag? It’s always hard to tell from pictures, but I did see a white tag in the inner pocket. I strongly suggest you contact Stella McCartney. They have a live chat on their website. I would ask the person if the foldover bag comes with a pouch and if they’d authenticate a bag you bought on consignment. Stella McCartney is very for the environment and likes that her bags are being reused/resold as opposed to ending up in landfills. So they’re very accommodating. I’ve always had a good experience with them. They’re not like David Yurman, which I recently purchased a bunch of rings on eBay. They’re very strict about authenticating because they want people to only buy from them directly. I hope this helps! Let me know if you need anymore information or advice.

I just looked again at the photos and saw on top that the listing is no longer available and they found something similar. So I wasn’t even looking at the bag you purchased! Sorry about that. Take pics of the bag you bought and I’ll try to look it over, plus you’ll need them to submit to Stella McCartney online. . But definitely contact Stella McCartney online and talk to a rep. I’m curious now what your bag looks like. Sorry for the mix up.

Hello, Sorry about that, I’m new to this. And thank you so much for your help. As I said there is no white tag on the inside with the numbers. And the “strlla mccartney made in italy” looks erased.

In my personal opinion, I think it’s an older model Falabella bag, but is authentic. The stamped labels wear off over time and the older models didn’t have white tags. Check the inside zipper for YKK. It would be on the side and small. If you look closely you can see it. The lining of this bag looks authentic. The stitching looks tight. Are the chains a good weight? That’s another indicator. It’s a pretty bag, gold on gold. All 4 of mine are silver chained, so I don’t have as much knowledge of the gold Falabellas. I highly recommend contacting Stella McCartney and asking them. It’s free and they can give you peace of mind. On the website you can chat with a rep and ask about the white tag and any other concerns. The lining looks identical to my Falabellas, just in the olive green, again indicating an older model. Most are pink now. I hope this helps. Where did you purchase the bag? I bought all 4 on eBay so once I started reading this forum I became suspicious of authenticity. But luckily they all checked out. As I said one was called fake on here, but the seller had me use a professional place that authenticates for $10 plus I used Stella McCartney’s authenticators and both assured me it was authentic. I tried asking the forums authenticator why she felt is was fake, but she disappeared.

Thank you so much for your time and you help.

Yes I can see the YKK on the zipper.
Also, the bag does feel like it is a good weight.
The only think I was nervous about was the white tag and the erased made in Italy...
I tried talking to Stella McCartney via chat and the phone before coming here, but they couldn't say anything over the phone, and there is unfortunately no store where I am.

No problem! I don’t think you have anything to worry about. In reading this forum and learning a lot about Falabellas I’ve read that some older models don’t have the white tag. That was added later. The YKK is a good sign, it’s a much more expensive zipper to use. And the fact that it’s a good weight is a good sign. It’s a pretty bag, I love anything with bling and sparkly. I actually prefer the chamois material to the shaggy deer because it has more sparkle to it. I’m surprised the reps at Stella McCartney weren’t more helpful. They usually give good advice and refer you to the email to send them photos of your bag. The first time I did that I didn’t get a response but the second time they authenticated 2 of my bags within 2-3 days. You might have to call a few times. I am near NYC where there’s a store, but it was easier to do online for me. Enjoy your bag! It’s authentic and beautiful! I’m happy to have been of some help. Since no one else is authenticating on here anymore. I’ve read through the entire forum and did my own research so I have an idea of what to look for.

Hi! Is it possible for a Stella to be authentic even if I can’t find the YKK on the zipper? Everything else about it looks great, it’s the Falabella fold over and it even has a mini pouch. I just can’t seem to find ykk anywhere

Hi! I have a couple questions regarding this bag. Is the first picture the tag that came with this bag? Because the serial numbers don’t match the white tag on the inside. Also, it should say “shaggy deer foldover” not just “shoulder bag.” Also, I have this black shaggy deer foldover bag and it does not come with the small pouch. I’ve only seen the large Falabellas have the pouch with them. But I will try and contact a rep a Stella McCartney to find out if that’s 100% accurate, the last thing I want to do is give false information. In a YouTube video I watched about authenticating Falabellas, they do mention the YKK zipper as a trademark. If you don’t mind me asking, where did you purchase this bag? Can you take a picture of the lining pulled out of the bag? It definitely has features that look real, but those few things concern me. Did any other tags come with the bag? I’ve never seen a foldover with a pouch but am going to double check that for you. Any information about the bags history would be helpful. Thank you. Kind regards, Jessica

I see the lining picture, can you take one of the whole bag lying flat with the chains hanging down. Like this...IMG_8706.jpg
