The seller got back to me saying "This item was a very early season (I want to say first season) "Icy" Stam, which means it was not made w a season tag. It was authenticated for me on The Purse Forum by the very most die-hard MJ fans. :-)". Hehe.
I told her that y'all were awesome over here and very knowledgeable, but that I still thought that season had tags and where to find them. I went back a few pages to see if she had authenticated it recently but didn't find it. Oh well. I'm thinking I should just wait until the color I really want comes along...or that purple Cecilia Stardust :yes: Thanks for checking it out for me.

I'm sorry but this isn't an item I can authenticate. You unfortunately purchased it from a place with a plethora of red flags - an instagram seller offering 'factory' designer items and 'boutique grade' Chanel and Hermes at a discount. There's no way a $1940 Louis Vuitton backpack is being sold for $340 - or a $2290 Givenchy Small Antigona for $380, etc. - without something shady going on.

For an added bonus, those Snapshot photos on Instagram are lifted from replica sites.

I've said this before but will say it again: the Snapshot collection is heavily and decently faked. The bags usually come out of Thailand but at this point are pretty well circulated. If you're not buying from an authorized retailer, you need to be very selective about who/where you're purchasing from. Google image search and common sense are your friend here.

The price on that instagram page was $250. It's available from an authorized retailer for $259.

Hello all!
My lovely grape MJ Hillier was stolen last week (and on my 30th birthday to boot). :'( Someone broke into our car on vacation and stole my whole suitcase. Sooooooo, here I am trying to find another one, and trying not to spend quite so much since I lost a whole lot of stuff in that case. Any assistance with authenticating this one would be greatly appreciated. I haven't been on here in ages so if I should ask the seller for any additional photos please let me know (Rivet, handles?)

happy belated birthday? that's awful, i'm sorry.

the third photo won't load for me but this looks fine so far. ask for a photo of the interior label and the made in tag to confirm.
