Hey Guys,

Wondering whether we could take a quick look at this bag. Complete newbie to Marc Jacobs bag purchasing but I found this in a TK (TJ) Maxx the other day, it was pretty cheap £90, it is full leather but I wanted a more experienced eye to take a look at it. It seems to be a Empire City Bag but I've only really seen it on Nordstrom Rack sites so I'd be interested to know real or fake or even is it an Outlet version bag!

It didn't come with a dust bag but it did come with the black thread with a white double side Marc Jacobs swing ticket (but the ticket was missing), YKK zippers throughout with an internal zipped pocket at the back and the two media pockets at the front and in the pocket a small white slip with care instructions - but I could only upload 10 images!)

Thankfully if it is a fakey at least it didn't cost the earth but still leather!

Authentic

MJ will not acknowledge that there are “made for outlet” bags that are sold at Nordstrom Rack and the like, but the consensus among collectors is that there are. This style is presumably one of those bags and not part of the mainline collection.

Hello again! I've gone off the deep end :P Please help me authenticate this Stam I found for a super deal (if it's real!).
Item: Small Stam in Coral from 2010

Comments: The heat stamp looks sloppy to me. I asked for a pic of the season tag and described where to find it and I got a pic of the hang tag instead (which I know can be easily faked). The seller said she got it from a friend that worked in the fashion biz and it was from MJ in New York. Wouldn't it have some kind of tag sewn inside, even if it was a sample bag?

Girlfriend finally found a tag inside the pocket.

though nothing strikes me as off in that one photo, photos of the interior label and made in tag and/or model tag would be needed to authentic.
