Hello! I only recently looked into MJ and MBMJ, so I don't know much about it. Can you guys please tell me if this wallet I'm looking into buying is authentic? The seller says it is, but I noticed that the box in the pictures is from another wallet, and also there's something weird with the letters in the third picture, B and S are missing? Or is it just covered with a white sticker or something? This really got me worried. Ask for clear photos of any interior tags (made in tag, model tag), a close up of the interior label, and the zipper pull engraving.

Is the second and third photo the same wallet or is it poor lighting?

The B and S aren't missing - the separate style tag is just placed over the care card envelope. However, those cards are Marc Jacobs cards and don't belong with a Marc by Marc Jacobs item, anyway.

It's the same one, I believe it's actually black and taupe (beige?). Thank you for clearing up the missing letters thing! Yeah, I don't know how I didn't notice it was just covered by a tag. The cards definitely don't belong, but I'm thinking as long as the wallet itself isn't fake, the seller probably just has several items by this brand and didn't notice the tags were wrong when she put the wallet up for sale? I'll inquire about that. I asked for the pictures you requested, hopefully she replies soon.

UPDATE: aaand it's already sold! The seller just replied. I guess she forgot to take down the ad. Thank you, faith_ann, for your reply.

History of the bag: bought at the Marc Jacobs store in Copenhagen, Denmark. Approximately 2 years ago.
Seller doesn’t remember the model name.
