Hello. I just received what is supposed to be an authentic Alyona bag but the zipperhead is engraved with Marc Jacobs and not Lampo or riri. Is it definitely fake? I can post pictures if need be. I have another MJ bag that I bought from yoox a few years ago that also has a zipperhead that is engraved with Marc Jacobs and I thought yoox was a reliable seller. Any input would be great! thanks!

Hi, hoping someone can help me authenticate this Marc Jacobs Stam bag:) I have a patchwork stam and the chain and bag itself just feels really heavy compared to this. 20170405_171946.jpg 20170405_172649.jpg 20170405_172519.jpg 20170405_172453.jpg 20170405_172006.jpg 20170405_172018.jpg 20170405_172350~2.jpg 20170405_172247.jpg It has lampo zippers but I thought stams had riri zippers. Also, the leather is a bit pink in certain areas compared to the rest of the bag. Any help would be greatly appreciated!:)

Ask for a close-up of the nameplate and the interior made in tag. It may or may not also have a style tag, depending on the season.

THREAD UPDATE

I posted months back that I wouldn't be able to post here for awhile. Unfortunately, no one else stepped in to authenticate regularly, so this thread has been a little abandoned.

I'm able to check in more frequently now, though, and can start authenticating again. Since posts that are weeks old are probably no longer relevant, I replied to the ones that were recent, and will be checking in daily going forth.

I'm not sure if answering this is still helpful to you (I've been away for a bit - thread update above this post) but even if it isn't, maybe it will be for someone else. There are several zipper types used and Marc Jacobs is one of them. While Yoox is a reliable retailer, it never hurts to double-check, but I would need photos of the item.

I hope the bag worked out for you! The Alyona is a great style.

It says FA11 and 810, 610 or B10? Or maybe that last number is a D. I can't quite read the latter part. Btw, your instagram name looked familiar and then I realized you shared some of my stuff on posh a few days ago. I had to laugh when I put two & two together. Thank you again for responding since posh only gives you 3 days to accept an order.

Definitely the ivory on yoogiscloset. And lighting makes a huge difference. The seller's cover photo looked to be the nude blush color but the other pics she posted made it look tan. I was hoping it was the cashew color when I ordered it but I love the bag anyway.
