Can someone please help me out? I'm trying to figure out how much this piece is worth. I've searched the web for hours, and haven't come up with anything. I would really, really appreciate it if somebody could tell me something about this necklace, such as its value, or if somebody could provide a link to where it's being sold or evaluated by an expert online? Thank you so much.

Sorry, but I don't think it's worth much at all in terms of resale. If I'm reading the hang tag correctly (it was hard to make out the lettering even on zoom) there is a lot of fake Miriam Haskell and even if it's authentic, these types of their pieces don't sell for much at resale. Haskell collectors want the older rose montee and baroque pearl pieces; those can go very high if in excellent condition. If authentic, this is more recent and there wouldn't be a ton of collector interest in it.

Well, that's disappointing. Any idea what the red and white things are?

Tell me what you think about this one, please?
Above the 1928 is a 6.

The red and white drops are likely glass (guessing the white are faux pearls) but they could be plastic. Hard to tell from a photo. Glass is generally cold to the touch and may have air inclusions (bubbles). 1928 was a mass produced costume jewelry company; they are still in business. I don't think the necklace would resell for more than about $10 - sorry. I wouldn't put more than about $35-40 on the Haskell piece depending on condition.

Costume jewellery can be very valuable, but it generally has to be by a known name (and not all collectible pieces bear a signature plate or hang tag but often have metal findings or a unique design style or stones that make it a virtual certainty they were made by a particular firm or designer) and in pristine shape. So no missing or replaced stones or components, no chips or cracks or verdigris (aka green gunk that can accumulate on metal if it gets exposed to moisture over time; it's a form of corrosion of the plating). Rare or very desirable designs can also sell for a lot (again, excellent condition is key.) Some costume pieces may be in less than optimal shape but if they come from a well known person or their estate, that provenance bumps up the value considerably. Think of Jacqueline Onassis's Kenneth Jay Lane costume pearls at auction - they went very very high because they were hers.

The last photo doesn't look valuable to me either if it's costume and not gold. Be aware also that clip earrings aren't terribly popular these days. Alas, old doesn't necessarily equate with valuable. Sorry.

Not sure if you do this as a hobby or just came across these but if you are going to buy to resell, there are some good general books on costume jewelry you might want to invest in. They don't cost a lot and even though they don't typically come with price guides, they can give you a good idea of what is considered rare/valuable/collectible.

Hope this helps!

Hello! Bought a fleur de lis David Yurman bracelet claiming to be authentic off of EBay and received yesterday. Seller stated would include COA, but all that was included was a bag and the bracelet. I would love some help in determining if it's real. The most suspicious part is the bag. The cord does not match the fabric and the letters appear to be peelable and I tried on the D. My other David Yurman came in a white bag from a jeweler. Any help would be much appreciated!
