Hi I bought this Tiffany and co chain toggle bracelet from portobello market in London I was told it was original vintage , is it authentic?
Please help me authenticate this David Yurman Hermatite Spiritual bead bracelet. The site is quite reputable, but when I got the bracelet, it just feels off somehow. The "D.Y." is missing the first period. Is there any David Yurman pieces that has "D Y." as the stamp with missing the first dot? If anyone has the spiritual bracelet, can you check to see if the stamp matches with yours. Also, there is no black line in between the twisting design where the clasp is. Thank you very much.
Just want to update everyone that this doesn't look like an authentic bracelet. I took it to Neiman and compare it to the real one there. The stamping of the real one is very clear and deep and it has both dots in "D.Y." not like this one where one is missing. Other than that, it is a very good fake. I read that it is probably made out of a cast of the authentic one. The disappointing thing is that I bought this from yoogiscloset.com and they are supposed to be all authentic. Guess they even fool the experts there. Definitely sending this one back and probably won't buy second hand anymore. Be careful when you purchased David Yurman from internet...
Well if you bought it used its possible some of the engravings got faded due to age. They wont look new forever. I bought a ring from yoogis and its definitely authentic. You can call them I know they offer return or tell them you think its fake. Yoogis is a reputable site. I bought a ring and a bag from them.
I have thought about that, but this looks like a brand new bracelet and it was sold as "Like New". I know that some can be faded, but for one dot on the "D.Y." to be completely not there? That is impossible. It's hard to explain, you just have to see the real stamp and this one side by side. On the real one, the 925 is also fatter. I still trust Yoogiscloset, don't get me wrong. I have purchased several items from them and they all look authentic to me. This one was just off to me, that is why I took it to Neiman and compared to my other David Yurman pieces, it just doesn't seem right. I probably will still buy from them, but just not David Yurman item. I sent it back today and have emailed them about its authentication. They still stand behind their claim which is fine with me. Just want to get my money back and go buy from Neiman instead. BTW, the black patina was not there either. David Yurman is known for the black patina on his pieces.
